About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
About TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. At TED, the world's leading thinkers and doers are asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Benoit Mandelbrot, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Two major TED events are held each year: The TED Conference takes place every spring in Long Beach, California (along with a parallel conference, TEDActive, in Palm Springs), and TEDGlobal is held each summer in Edinburgh, Scotland.
TED's media initiatives include TED.com, where new TEDTalks are posted daily; the new TED Conversations, enabling broad conversations among TED fans; and the Open Translation Project, which provides subtitles and interactive transcripts as well as the ability for any TEDTalk to be translated by volunteers worldwide.
TED has established the annual TED Prize, where exceptional individuals with a wish to change the world are given the opportunity to put their wishes into action; TEDx, which offers individuals or groups a way to host local, self-organized events around the world; and the TED Fellows program, helping world-changing innovators from around the globe to become part of the TED community and, with its help, amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities.

It’s amazing how this act evolved.
It's his best!!
Absolutely amazing and stunning performance! Screw women’s soccer - Kenichi defines talent. BRAVO
In the end it was absolutely ossom and original. Never see this idea before.
Yeah its a Japanese thing, generally we are quiet not to disturb other people. Though we can be loud at rock concerts cos we know those places are where it should be. I guess people here don't really even know what TED is all about, its not very famous in Japan, maybe they thought they should be quiet for the presentation at first.. But you know in the end, they eventually get into and know how to behave cause everyone's excited enough. Great.
12:20 he jumped many times in a way to ensure such accurate positions that it looks like he was flying. Is it right?
incredibly talented dancer, choreographer.
Such a creative mind, he reminds me something out of a cartoon
Little did they know, they were watching a man who was about to become a STAR known worldwide!
Wow, he made the crowd so excited!!!
One person in the back clapping! I guess she didn't get the memo.
Absolutely astounding.
Absolutely Amazing...unbelievable controlled body movements!!!
So many details! Unbelievable!
what's the song at 6:11 (i'm here just now)?? please help
Stunning absolutely stunning
incredible!!!!
excellent!!!!!!
Amazing!
Song in 1:20 ?
amazing
That kinda sounds like a remix of Moments In Love by Art of Noise.
it's amazing
12:20 was... was he flying?!!??
Amazing 👍👍👍
Subarashii!! ano hito wa sugoiiiiiiii!!!!!
This crowd sucks. Even at the end there was no enthusiasm with the clapping.
The crowd doesn't suck guys. It's a Japanese crowd and its not permissible in their culture to scream and holler at an event like that. Laughing and clapping is already a fair bit of emotion to show.
wow amazing
Love this guy but compared to his different shows a x factor this one is dull because it's way too repetitive. I can understand the audience that they got bored: Way too many "robot sounds" and "robot gestures".
12:09
Enough said
5:50
Nice
he needs a special makeup!! :)
Esse é o cara
different culture, clapping or wooing is rude.
...maybe :3
Haha he got carried away
very
they are quiet because its a Japanese culture to be quiet, lol
