Looking good man! I'm in the process of building a layout myself a little 4x6 with a 2 foot by 6 foot L addition for a staging yard. I've been out of the hobby for about 10 years but I'm getting back into it I always used atlas flex track, but I decided to go with Kato on this one. Kato is amazing track. Most of my main line and siding are Kato but I'm using Atlas code 83 for the yard. Kato just doesn't have the options for switches that i want in my yard so that's the only reason why I'm using two kinds of track. But it's probably because I'm trying to squeeze so much on a little space so it's a little more challenging. But best wishes and happy railroading!

Thanks so much for the info. I'd like to see how you mix the two tracks and all your ideas of your layout. It sure is hard to really see it in video, in my opinion. I really like this Kato track but I can see where the different switches open up a whole other world of trackage. Good luck, and thanks again 👍
