I have the same problem with an HP Omen, battery swollen within 6 months of replacing it. 3 replacements within a year. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from occurring?
@@ModBros I have an option to set maximum charge limit at 80%, which means battery will stop charging at 80%, will this help? But as far as I know there is no bios update
I'm not a battery expert but I think it might help. I guess it depends on the battery design. I'd love to know the outcome so if you remember tell me if it helps!
Alr so, IF U HAVE A SWOLLEN LAPTOP BATTERY,JUST REPLACE IT. DONT U FRICKIN TRY TO STAB IT WITH NEEDLES,ITS RISKY+LITHIUM BATTERIES IS FRICKIN DANGEROUS WHEN IT CONTACT TO WATER AND OXYGEN,U BETTER REPLACE THE BATTERY,NOT TRYING TO FIX IT,OR U GONNA LOSE UR LAPTOP OR EVEN RISKING UR LIFE
Hi if u anyone can help thanks! my dell has that black metal-ish thing where the trackpad is, the bottom corners adhesive if off i think & corners stick up a bit. Would it be a problem of when i install a new battery? otherwise idk how to bend it back to normal.
Did you say your laptop is the XPS 15 9550? Can you confirm the spec and model number for the new battery as well as the old battery? How many minutes was the call and how much was the cost per minute?

Check if there is a bios update that improves battery or power management - That might help!
