The shed in Link's house has been bothering me, so thanks for that. In my head canon, it has to be a bathroom. The other great mystery of Link's house is why he has a chimney and no fireplace.
Maybe It's not a chimney it's a pipe related to the bathroom...
Link might have a fancy flushing toilet or something and that chimney is just a toilet vent.
Well my house has a chimney as well, but no fireplace, it's for the extractor hood in our kitchen, but Link doesn't really have a kitchen or the extractor hood

Here's a challenge for you:
Go into Master Mode Hyrule castle (fresh save) with unupgraded Hylian armor, 3-6 hearts, one stamina wheel, you only bring a torch. Your mission is to survive for 3 in-game days within the confines of the castle, and take pictures of all the different creatures within, and defeat them. You can only use the hot spring twice, and you can use anything within the castle walls, including the Hylian Shield. Also, no Calamity Ganon. A secondary goal is to collect the royal guard gear including weapons and armor.
I call it the *Castle Survival Safari.*
IMPORTANT: No hiding around or staying in one place for too long. Mini bosses are included with the creatures you must photograph and kill. You must also find 3 koroks.
Ill add some rules ;)
- 1 stay still/hiding too long is forbidden for the 3 days. You must keep going and explore the castle.
- 2 loopholes for rule 1 are also forbidden >:)
- 3 you must kill all minibosses
- 4 find 3 koroks

One thing BOTW was really lacking was a boss reliving thing. In OOT 3D Link can sleep in his bed and relive bosses and in Majora’s Mask he can just go and fight them all again whenever.
What if in BOTW, when you bought the whole house and all upgrades Bolsen was like “wow! You got the whole thing! Now that the place is 100% yours take this key for the shed in the back. We never wound up going back there, we have no clue what could be waiting.”
Then Link walks around back and opens it and finds a weird Shiekah room with a cushion in the center and weird glowing Shiekah things all around. It’s like some sort of meditation room. And when Link walks over to the cushion he has an option to sit down. When he does he begins to meditate and has the chance to relive and fight bosses with the weapons he currently has equipped.
The room can be explained, through a book or something that the Shiekah built this room in Link’s home (because it’s Link’s house from 100 years ago) for training purposes. They created a room to test the chosen warrior through deep meditation or something. It’s a place for the chosen warrior to rest and meditate about his fights.
Now that Link has experienced the Blights and Khoga or whatever he has the chance to reflect on those fights in this meditation chamber.
Edit: I just realized you can fight the Blights any time, if you have the DLC.
But you still can’t fight Khoga, or Maz Koshia ever again. And you have to fight the blights with the weapons the game gives you. Not exactly what I wanted.

I always wondered what was in those. The animators could have just made the tool sheds have like a chicken inside or something random in each one. Like an apple or a nut
I was really curious to see if there was something or not, since that toolshed seems perfectly aligned with the unused space behind the shield's wall (and below link's bed) which could be quite a large room. Since there was nothing there, maybe it was an unimplemented upgrade?

Seems like it was his edit. But from what I saw, Zelda BOTW was actually designed from the ground up as a 2d top down 8 bit game as a rough draft. It would have been cool if the devs actually used the 8 bit music in that rough draft

Oh it annoys me so much that we have a house with a tool shed and it doesn't even open! It's my house, why is that door permanently locked? How hard is it to add that tiny space to the game... Just an empty room would have been much better :T

I literally just had the best luck on Botw. So when I loaded my started playing, I was at Link's house, and decided to test my amiibo because I had never used amiibo before, and I used my Oot Amiibo. First try, I got the Cap of Time. that Was specifically what I wanted and had never gotten a classic link outfit/wild set. Right after that, I used my new guardian amiibo and then tried this glitch. it worked first try. I was so excited because I had never done a glitch before. I wanted to do it because you inspire me and I was to be like you. When I was in the glitched house with the Cap of Time on I took a screenshot and I was like,"I look just like Mety333!" XD

I did it, after pushing myself into this tower thing like mety did, I glitched myself into this little room.( When you are in this tower thing, go into the corner and just smash weird buttons, it worked after I crouched and did the sheika zoom thing often)

This guy has probably dug deeper into the game's systems than even the developers.
They could have done something useful with the shed but they didn't, they could have let you use it as storage for items, weapons, shields, bows, consumables, etc... Which would have been so useful to have instead of three mounts which might I add they could have fit more of anyway, and of course, it would have a sizeable inventory to fit stuff into.

Could someone explain to me that attack at the very beginning where he shield surfed & arrow attacked the boko? How do you get that uplift as a reaction? Is it a particular kind of arrow or would this happen anytime you attack like that?

I tried this myself. There was no 8-bit music, but thankfully I found that it is possible to escape. You just have to jump around the top of the chimney.

It's a shed where link stores all the bodies of every bokoblin he's killed, and it's a storage for all the times link takes a crap when you turn off your switch. He's gotta go sometime.....
You can get inside with shield clipping. Get a skew on the bridge support beam thingys and then face the wall with the window. Keep shield jumping at it (starting a shield surf and unequipping the shield as you flip) and you should get thru. To exit, crouch under the ‘door’ and jump.
I invested more than 300 hours into this game and I never knew there was a shed next to Links house
i am still confused of the out of bounds glitch in the master sword trials. how do you perform it at the first level, I try it with the log but I keep bouncing back from the wall(i play on switch btw)
