KU Men's Basketball Locker Room

As one of the most prestigious men’s collegiate basketball teams in the nation, the KU men’s basketball coaching staff wanted to up the game of their locker room. They turned to DI under a tight timeline for what was to be a “dream job” according to DI CEO, Tucker Trotter. DI tapped into the rich history of the team to create environmental branding and theming to modernize and update the space.
KU competes with the best of the best in college basketball so DI’s job was to help them win. The new space is designed to make a recruit understand what it’s like to be part of an amazing team and tradition.
Sports Illustrated magazines line the hallways featuring former KU greats and large graphics overlaid with inspirational quotes will remind teams for years to come of the prestige of the organization.
To create this film, DI and its video team, Rockbox, enlisted the help of filmmaker Ron Berg and composer Sam Billen. Thanks to RockBox, Ron and Sam for contributing their incredible talents.
