That we are dependent being is ultimate truth. When we realize this truth, we seek GOD. Faith of GOD should be basic of life of human.

God knows we will be so busy with our lives that He just asks for 1 Sabbath Day from us. God teaches me to have more peaceful Sabbath Days for Him and enjoy besides taking care of His other creations as much as I could.

to find the truth you have to do 2 things....1st is that you have to want the truth, some people say they want the truth but when they are offered magic mushrooms they dont want to experience a true enlightened experience, some people say they want the truth but forbid intestigation of other religions outside of their own, well thats not truth seeking that being closed minded !!!
most people will need to experience poverty or other heardships in order to be brought to their knees before God asking for help with humility and knowledge that they are finally ready to heard from above and not to keep trying their own way.
when someone is humbled then they should read the tanakh for themself or listen to an audio recordedreading of the Tanakh.... i think every true truth seeker need to know the words of Isaiah and Jeremiah and Ezekiel better than they know their own words so that the word of the prophets become their words too.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth"...there is no oral law mentioned in the Tanakh, but as you study the Tanakh you will learn what is indirectly told about the origin of the oral law....Jeremiah 9 talks about how the oral law came to be !!!

@11213org makes sense. but my question is then if Gd needs us, then why can't He just make us in a spiritual form so we can relate to Him more and be close to Him? why then does He allow us to distance ourselves from Him? and also why then does there have to be so many of us, can't one two, five hundred, or a thousand people be enough?
I can hear rav Friedman but I cannot hear the questions being asked.. Isn't judaism about questions and answers? Furthermore, isn't judaism about understanding the questions as well as the answers? How can we understand the answer without hearing what question is being asked?
First I was thinking this too but then , as I was only hearing the Rabbi’s answeres , I concluded that whatever point he’s making is very insightful & he knows how to get to the core of the most important point ; I focused on that

Ultimate TRUTH is this there is no God to worship....
Why does he need us, if he already has host in heaven?

Jude Lion I would have to agree with that answer. God wanted to bestow pleasure and thus created something to receive it. He however wanted something that would have a relationship with him out of choice, not being forced.
