@@AdventureEndeavor That's funny. A few years back I beached my boat in front of the restaurant and my buddy accidentally dropped his wallet on the beach when walking up. By the time we ate and he realized it was gone and called to cancel his cards somebody had picked it up and spent 250 at the gas dock and 100 in the store. Nothing to do with Pirates just unfortunate it wasn't somebody like Jeff that found it. Great place to stay. Food is better at Topock though LOL
Your review of Pirate Cove was right on. Our camping group of 4 RV’s stay here for a month every year. It’s the best place on the River to camp right on the River. The Zip line is inoperable. When the fire a few years ago went thru there, it burned part of it. It was too costly to fix and the liability insurance was high, and since it didn’t get a lot of customers, it was closed down. We’ve been camping at Pirate Cove for the last 5 years. Great place, great people working there. 👍👍
Stayed there before they built the new restaurant on one of the peninsula's with my boat once and really enjoyed it! When we do the Laughlin River Run motorcycle rally we always make a run down to either Pirates Cove or Topock, for a while Pirates Cove was the only choice after Topock burned down. Also in the summer we do breakfast and lunch runs from Havasu in the boat through Topock Gorge which I highly recommend doing as it is beautiful and just a fun ride/drive!! (In the summer it is cooler on the river) And us boaters call that a channel not a canal!! LOL :)
Hi, have been going there for over 35 years, really. Heard a couple different reasons why the zip and drop out attractions haven't been running for the past 7 years. 1) They can't get a certified rigger to run them 2) due to the fire they had - deemed unsafe. Also folks, Get your gas in Arizona!!! Just drive 10 minutes across the bridge in Needles!!!Very good reveiw and yes make your reservations a year in advance( Don't get stuck making them for your flaky friends ). God bless.
I lost that other account and this is my new account and we’re gonna go there again every year of august we go there and it’s really fun but the only anoyying thing is I get sunburnt so easily and there were flies that were bitten me and all the flys went inside the rv but at the end of the day it’s so fun
Questions??? Looked on web saw hook ups but never saw sewer? Can you walk out to river front or is it cliff? Can you recommend which peninsula would hold 5 motorhomes and on water 👍 This looks like a tone of fun but have never been there Our summer fun years ago was Colorado river on the Az side in the bushes🤣, racing boats and skiing cant believe we roughed it in the summer. Outside camping, no air, 120 deg in the day and night 110 lounge chairs in the water at night to keep cool, oh to be young again❣🤣
Hey so they do have FULL hookups in the peninsula's. You can walk do to the river it's a nice sandy beach, as far as the size of sites you'll have to check their website. It's a great place, a little expensive though.
We camped there one time in August several years ago in the peninsula sites. It was infested with these little knats. Every time we would open the door, 50-100 of them would fly in. The riverbottom below the campsite was also filled with slimy algae so my kids did not want to swim in the water. Might have been a fluke but it was enough to turn us off from camping there ever again. Also the marina area was completely clogged with seaweed and we had to keep clearing out our jet ski impellers. I hope things have improved since then. But the lack of maintenance in the resort in dealing with these issues was annoying.
I believe this site is in/near Needles, CA. Haven’t visited this location but have dined and gotten gas on the Colorado River near Parker, AZ. Check that one out, too.
Nice you guys took the time to do a video and the place looks great.
Great spot!
Love hearing stories about people being genuinely GOOD (turning in a wallet)! Awesome drone shots, as per usual. Thanks for sharing, guys!
Thanks for watching guys! Yeah that was really nice to experience with the wallet. All the money was in it also!

Ah man that's a bummer! Yeah we were there and it was slow, luckily an employee returned it.

Welcome! Thanks for watching!
Well at least the music kept playing while I watched a black screen. Enjoy
Weird, just watched it works perfectly for me.

I don't remember any of these issues you speak of. That's unfortunate.
Cool! Thanks for the tip
