- This was filmed during the week on an early Spring day in 2021 while it wasn't so busy with weekend visitors. Temps were about 90 degrees so the start of the boating season. So beautiful and so fun with amazing views. Life on the river is good.

Before the blocked river, when spring break was truly free.
Had condo Havasu and trailer in Parker. 4 jets 2 bass boats small house boat.
I am surely blessed born in the USA.
Everyone is dead now but me.. no joke. I still get an itch an ride out there when I can.
So much has changed.
I miss them all.
Only in the USA could a man live so free.. long ago it feels

I was an Orange county boy.. So Cal bratt
We built southern Cal..used to be bean and Orange fields as far as the eye could see.

This was my early 20s going to Parker and Lake Havasu in the early 90s. Awkward kid probably drinking too much and trying way too hard to meet the young ladies. Mostly just trying to figure out what to do with my life. The river did a lot to soothe that stress and angst for a few days before going back to real life. It would all work out ok in the end, but I didn’t know it at the time.
I’m going to take a trip back soon. Haven’t been in over 25 years. Might even still live it enough to retire in Parker or Havasu.
used to go there every year for michelin/ford testing at ford test track at yucca. stayed at queens bay hotel lake havasu. remember big 10 year celebration at queens bay hotel. fantastic times

It sure does. May through Labor Day on just about every weekend except those that follow a holiday weekend are very busy. Some more than others for various reasons.

Bought some land in Parker area ( 70 x 100) in 2004. Put a small mobile home on it. Planning on a 24 x45 garage soon. Live there 6 months out of the year. Wife is going to retire in 2 years and we'll sell CA house. Life is good
