That mosaic is beautiful. That method is similar to how they make stained glass windows with images painted on...Cut the shapes then paint with glaze ... fire on the painting then put them together. VERY time consuming. Great stuff Lori!!!

Hey Jeff thanks for the quick reply i tightened my belt and bought a brand new gold pan and metal detector the detector is very cheap but its better than nothing and it will be a great srtarter for me it just arrived last friday and in my haste i forgot to grab batteries for the thing. I've taken the detector that I bought second-hand to the beach & found everything from bottle caps to chain link fence ties to an actual Michael Kors bracelet worth $140, but I'm quite sure that I could learn even more on one of these trips. I'm still recovering from covid & pneumonia, but I'm gonna have to become a Patron, because I would absolutely LOVE to join one of these adventures, nuggets or no nuggets.

I love these tour videos. The best part is seeing people find gold for the first time and everyone finding beautiful nuggets. That mosaic is amazing and is worth more than any amount of gold in my eyes. I'm an artist and know just how great it feels to accomplish a great piece of art. Especially when you give it to someone who really appreciates it. I carved a piece of marble when I was having a breakdown a few hours a day with a screwdriver,bolt an an Allen key and I wouldn't part with it for any amount of gold.
