Depression is real Listen to how he qualifies himself, one of best yet undercuts his abilities. He just can’t get enough out of life and music has been his vehicle. Thanks for the ride BOSS
I used to wait on Bruce and Patty (and later on, their kids) when I worked waiting tables in Beverly Hills. They would come in and be so down to earth, just being regular people and sometimes reading the paper . They used to come in pretty frequently.
Wow wow and awesome. What a great wake up way too early 4 a day off 😃 between the Bono interview and Bruce interview my mind is blown 🥳 the best artists ever 😃😃
Also, those of you who haven’t seen the Letter to You documentary: you’ve got to see it. It’s beautiful, spellbinding, highly personal, and deeply affecting. What makes it so are Bruce’s meditations and narration about life, death, and his career-it’s far more than just a live performance of the record. It’s gotten relatively little attention because it’s only on Apple TV, but you can get it free for a week and then cancel.
Happy that Someday We'll Be Together made it onto the album. Bruce's very strong and faithful delivery of this classic, the last #1 song of the 1960's, is the perfect counterpoint and tribute to Diana Ross' sweet lovely delivery.
Hoping he finds a way to work in some ballads during the tour. He wrote some of the best in his career during lockdown (Moonlight Motel, One Minute You’re Here, and others). First time I saw Bruce nearly 40 years ago he said to the audience, “We’re gonna do a long show tonight…” then he invited us to sit for a bit while he played some quieter numbers. The change of pace was nice because a Bruce show is so high energy you need to rest a bit, regardless of your age.
10:23 shout out to Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes. Jon Bon Jovi wanted to be an Asbury Juke, when he grew up. Southside was his hero he aspired to be!
I think he is naturally shy. Plus he probably thought he’d have to answer a lot of dumb questions back in the day. Now he’s opened up a lot what with his book, etc. I think he even found that the interviews can be fun. Plus even Bruce wants to sell his records. This interview was good. I’d been dying to find out how he formulated the team.
Thank you for letting us find you, as we find ourselves in your music...
For me, the greatest songwriter and live performer of all time.

That was just a beautiful interview; THANK YOU, my first Springsteen concert was in New Brunswick, NJ in 1973.

Fabulous interview Edith. You have such a sincere interview style it got great responses. Very enjoyable and insightful.
73 and still talking down names, and able to be civil and approachable.
Got a lot left in the tank.

Great interview! I love to hear Bruce laugh, almost as much as I love to hear him sing!!

I really enjoyed the great interview with Bruce, and you were very spontaneous...Edhit.

Springsteen in his hey day wouldn't do Talk Shows, now he tours the globe promoting his latest albums on Talk Shows,, 180 degree change of tact..

Great interview, I assume the interviewer was off to a fancy dress party afterwards
👌❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👋👋👋👋
Wanna know how many songs I didn't use on my new album? A lot more than 40.
Why is the volume so frickin low?
tha volumes fine son
Check your sound. Nothing wrong with the volume
Get the wax out.
As in 40 songs. 😄
Bruce if your listening I would love for you to do Westbound #9 and Somebody’s been Sleeping! Just a thought..💙
Flambing Ember's 'Westbound #9 " would be amazing. His voice is ideally suited to it.
