Proto ho miluji a moc, moc, moc mu děkuji 🥰 Zdenka Praha
Hi Bruce, I'm a Jersey "girl" living in Florida now. I have always loved your music, and miss Jersey terribly. I met my husband at NAD Earl in Colts Neck. He was a Marine who had just returned from Viet Nam when we met. We dated, got engaged and married a year and a half later. My life is influenced by the music of the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and I miss those days back in the late 60's and 70's terribly. I wish I never left Jersey, but can't afford to go back there. I'm so lonely and still don't feel like Florida is "home". My 3 sons are here, and are married and have children here in Florida .I still have more family in NJ and miss them terribly. I wish I could travel back and forth, but it's not financial possible for me since I live on Social Security only, which the GOP is planning on "sunsetting" within five years. I really wanted to tell you how much your music means to me. It makes me homesick though, because I feel NJ is still my home. I'm happy that you are not in favor in Trump being president, and I agree with you and Steven Van Zandt. I pray to God that Biden wins the 2024 electric because I truly believe that he will destroy our democracy and everything will be chaotic! I hope to hear all of your family, Steven Van Zandt and the E Street Band, and everyone you know, will speak up and maybe do a concert that will help Biden win. I think it will help people see, and understand that Biden is the best candidate for president. We really need you, and others in the music industry to speak out, because you are so influential and loved by millions of people. People such as yourself, have millions of people who believe in you. Otherwise, our Democracy will become an Autocracy! Please, will you use you powerful influence and get Steven Van Zant to help our democracy stay in place. I'd hate to think what will happen to our wonderful country if Trump gets back into the Whitehouse, for a second term. I'm having panic attacks, deep concern, and sleepless nights, just thinking about it. I'm very worried about our county. Please Bruce, use your influence, because I know you have a great following and along with Steven Van Zant, I know you can prevent this horrific man from taking the presidency again! Please, I beg you to have a campaign to make people aware of exactly what the GOP is planning on doing! I pray that God helps us all!
It’s about Bruce’s perspective. Much of his lyrics are expressions of his political beliefs and reflections on social issues in America. Bruce speaks truth about Trump in the election year. Trump did zero for the working person.
I am very happy to have read all these positive opinions about Bruce. I really respect this man for being there. I respect his views, his mastery of writing his songs which give me so much. Price, him for the courage to speak about your problem. It gives hope to many people. Thank you Mr. Springsteen, you are great. Live in health as long as possible. May God protect you.
He is a thinker, and having read his autobiography 'Born To Run' he is also a very good writer. It's a very interesting and honest account of his life to date.
Yes, I was super amazed and super impressed by the book but I was not surprised that it was so good. Given how great a songwriter Bruce is it seems obvious that he's great writer. I love how philosophical he is at times in the book. Very intelligent autobiography, the best one I've read
One of the best Interviews EVER with Bruce Thankyou to both of you so at ease Questions great as well as answer's made me feel as I was listening to the Real Bruce if you know what I mean WONDERFUL Love Annie from The Gold Coast Queensland The Land Down Under AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 baci x
I was amazed at this interview and i knew a little about Bruce and the songs he sang about America. He seemed democratic with his views about the politics and was for the workers of America.I spent some time this month traveling through New Jersey and experienced what it must have been like growing up there for him. Many of the songs were based about his life,"Born to run,Rosalita,Glory Days" so many more for this true american. He also identified with those in need."Streets of Philadelphia".TY
I admire Bruce Springsteen very much. In addition to his being such an impressive musician, I think that he's a kind, gracious and articulate man. Cheers.
As can be seen from the interview above he’s a globalists puppet and since started pushing the experimental jabs for them. Trump is on the peoples side but too many are brainwashed by the media to figure it out.
Provided the question is "name a narcissistic psychopath who is running for president". Or another, "name the most unqualified person to run for president in American history".
Bruce Springsteen is amazing. He's basically pointing out that if we don't talk about the issues, about the things that have affected us and mean the most to us, then we never talk about them.
For the working class voter, Donald Trump has an element of wish fulfillment for them. He's no smarter or intellectually sophisticated than the average American, and he's rich. But for the lack of a billionaire father there goes me. Trump plays that up. I disagree about musicians having influence. Steve Van Zant made a huge difference in raising awareness about apartheid in South Africa.
No, i bet Springsteen would prefere to have a professional doing the job, rather than doing it himself. Also he wouldn`t have time for concerts anymore, that would suck. Dump Trump in 2020? yes, please. Choose Bruce? please don`t waste your voice with an invalid vote!

BRUCE I LOVE YOUR SONGS. THEY REMIND ME OF THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT I ONCE HAD! AND YOU BRUCE ARE ONE OF THE BEST SINGER AND BELIEVE ME THERE COULD ONLY BE ONE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN HANDS DOWN XOXO
Bruce's politics suck-as do most of our Rock-n-Roll heroes. They live in the Hollywood/media bubble and think they are still cutting edge and represent the working class. He made great music but that was long ago and far away in a different time.
Didn't know he was such a thinker ??? come on do you know the amount of Songs Bruce has wrote. Now as a writer myself (not a very good one) im always thinking about ideas. Im not sure how much Sleep Bruce gets. As for his music Start with his first album Greeting From Asbury Park-1973 and go forward. His 70's albums are the best.
Rocky B people that don't know Bruce writes hours upon hours into the late night are not real fans and he's been doing it since he was 16 years old!!! A true musical genius and generous caring humanitarian .! him and the great James Gandolfini did a lot of great work together trying to help less fortunate around the world !!
thinker? hes an absolute idiot, and demonstrated such. He should stick to turning down his guitar real low on stage while pretending to know how to play it.
I remember first knowing who Bruce was when I was 10 years old. I just turned 50, and I still love his music, but now I love the man behind it all. So sweet, smart, humble….I just love him🥹🎸🎶💙
He gets asked a question, and he is entitled to his opinion like anybody else. Freedom of Speech also applies to artists and public figures. If you want to stick to his music, stick to his music. You don't have to listen to him talk politics.
This man without realizn made me a success in life...I used to study hard because of songs such as Trapped..Tougher than the Rest...No retreat No Surrender..his songs alongside the Bible have always made me overcome personal tribulations...Songs and God can do a lot to our wellbeing....God loves beautiful songs...God bless u...u have touched millions
This was one of the best interviews with Bruce that I have ever seen. Great questions. So many interviewers have no idea who Bruce is and what to ask him beyond surface level stuff. This interviewer knew his stuff and asked fantastic questions.
My Boss, u will be in my heart 4ever. Great interview. Brilliant story-teller,handsome,great voice, has a way with lyrics, his own style,charm.... u r very smart, intelligent, always thinkin about others. U deserve everythin that u got now. And the moniker,The Boss, too. Kisses,Ester. :-)
It's distasteful to interview genuinely nice people like Bruce Springsteen, and ask negative questions about his father and his relationship with his father, and his depression. Of the millions of better, smarter questions he could have been asking. Poor interviewer !
Respectfully, I do think the growing problem of depression - AND the sad fact that it is so often passed from father to son - is something that should be talked about. People like Bruce can do a lot to help eliminate the stigma associated with depression.
Geoff Morris well I've no idea who the interviewer is, or where he comes from (sounds British to me), but his technique and questions are atrocious in this interview and it feels like a wasted opportunity that I would regret, had it been me.
I’m reading his autobiography right now, it’s really a big book. It’s very introspective. I was sitting in the doctors office reading the part he wrote after his dad passed and I was sitting there crying. It was so moving
First saw Springsteen on the River tour. It was the best concert I have ever witnessed. At the time, I thought it was the greatest LP of all time. It told of a reality I could relate to. I also learned the power of music to reach into the souls of men. It felt like a religious experience. But since then I have learned the difference between live entertainment and true spirituality. Be that as it may. I have since learned that one should never be fooled into thinking that expertise in one field or in the Boss’ case, talent, no matter how great, carries any weight when transferred into another field of thought. His ability to entertain and unite an audience within the blue collar, almost mythological american dream/nightmare, is truly remarkable. I find it interesting that the 2008 bailout angered him. Because while it was a Republican president who signed the bill, it was the Democratic controlled congress that passed the bill. “We are democrats because they are for the people”. That’s what I used to think. I find it interesting that the only thing that the interviewer could bring up about Trump was “the locker talk”. The idea that Trump only courted the forgotten blue collar man (from whom Springsteen struck pay dirt) for ill intentions, is sad indeed. The problem with promises is that you must give the promiser a chance or the benefit of the doubt to see if he can deliver what was promised. You can be sure that if you go to a Bruce Springsteen concert, he will deliver the goods. Clearly, the midwest had lost its faith in the Democratic promises of the Kennedy era. “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!” The new promise of the Democrats became, FORGET YOU! ask not what your country can do for you, but what your country can do for the Global village. Why not take a chance with Trump? “He’s not going to be president”. “Hillary will make a good president”. Well, we will see after the 2020 election cycle is in the history books if those forgotten blue collar folks in any town USA agree with the Boss. Because they did not agree with him in the 2016 cycle. The Boss is one of the best in his field of expertise, and he is entitled to his opinion. He was Born in the USA! Praise be to God!
I can only say, I worked in Freehold NJ for many years, I knew some of Bruce's old school chums, I knew his first drummer, who's leg got messed up in Vietnam, and for the most part he is THE Home Town Hero....and he earned it !!!!
“E Street” is more than band name or slogan. For me it can be a concept or understanding only someone who can relate to this man and his songs would care about. “E Street” is about home and family and country and experience and DNA. “E Street” is universal. It is everything that truly matters.
We're all proud to be born in the USA and so pleased to still have Bruce around making great music. And man, he certainly pegged Trump for exactly what he is - a flagrant, toxic narcissist with no sense of decency and responsibility that most of us have learned to despise.
You apparently heard what you wanted to from Bruce and missed the subtleties and how he really feels about the "Donald" Differently a hilery kind of guy and that pretty much tells you his state of mind.
@@npsParksancient comment, but still I wanted to say that maybe you are just hearing what you want to as well, and also reading and/or interpreting what you’re reading through a biased lens, considering how you react to the OP… The OP is talking about how Bruce responds to the VOTERS, not Trump himself, which you seemed to miss. I likely wouldn’t agree with the OP who “the left” is and/or what it means to be of “the left” (eg, many Hilary voters might have been of the left, but only as a less evil vote, while the liberals who love her are not left wing at all), but they’re correct about liberals and/or some parts of the left shaming Trump voters being a problem (at least if you have leftist or progressive politics, it’s not helpful to criticize the voters for their votes). I digress…
It's odd to say the left did anything wrong when the right attacks the left.. and even worse, stormed the capitol like a bunch of 2 year olds because they didn't like the results
Yes, you would think that he is rich enough to make his concerts more accessible to poorer people... I would love to go and see him (I'm British), but I cannot possibly afford it! :-(
There's a documentary. Springsteen and I. It's fans talking about their experiences and how Bruce has gotten them through tough times and stuff like that. There's a couple from England. They got tickets. Nosebleed section. A guy comes up to them. Asks to see their stubs. He rips them up and says "we can do better than that". Gives them some wrist bands and tells them to go further down. They keep going. They get lost. People help them out, tell them "no, you need to keep going". They end up front row. The guy who gave them the bands worked for the Boss
I think he deserves to be challenged and I think this interviewer wasn't a typical "fan boy" interviewer. Bruce handled it well. I'm a Trump fan. And a Bruce fan.
Tim what do you see good in trump ? I Can tell you what I see good in Obama. But I can’t see anything good about trump His whole life has been privilege At least democrats fight for working people Trump is a spoil brat who had it all handed to him. Everything said about Hillary have been debunked It was more of a grudge republicans held and still hold against her it’s sickening. Not only the attacks on her but Obama with infantile nick names Conspiracy theory Idk It’s good vs evil decency vs shame
Brian William Trump shares my views on illegal immigration, globalism, trade, individual responsibility., Israel, socialism and I like his sense of humour and political incorrectness.

Proto ho miluji a moc, moc, moc mu děkuji 🥰 Zdenka Praha
Hi Bruce,
I'm a Jersey "girl" living in Florida now.
Nothing like a Springsteen show. Every single night this guy this guy gives 120% and you can tell loves every single second of it.
Is this interview about Bruce or trump?
It’s about Bruce’s perspective. Much of his lyrics are expressions of his political beliefs and reflections on social issues in America. Bruce speaks truth about Trump in the election year. Trump did zero for the working person.
I am very happy to have read all these positive opinions about Bruce. I really respect this man for being there. I respect his views, his mastery of writing his songs which give me so much. Price, him for the courage to speak about your problem. It gives hope to many people. Thank you Mr. Springsteen, you are great. Live in health as long as possible. May God protect you.
Bruce seems very weary in this interview. I can identify with that.
I am so proud of Springsteen, he is an upright person & a great role model. ✨❤️✨😎✨
He is a thinker, and having read his autobiography 'Born To Run' he is also a very good writer. It's a very interesting and honest account of his life to date.
The book is extremely well written.
Yes, I was super amazed and super impressed by the book but I was not surprised that it was so good. Given how great a songwriter Bruce is it seems obvious that he's great writer. I love how philosophical he is at times in the book. Very intelligent autobiography, the best one I've read
Here’s a lesson, Bruce Springsteen works for himself and he’s very successful. Do the same and don’t work for others
Lol
Boss u pravom smislu, kralj, legenda.
He seemed democratic with his views about the politics and was for the workers of America.I spent some
time this month traveling through New Jersey and experienced what it must have been like growing
up there for him. Many of the songs were based about his life,"Born to run,Rosalita,Glory Days" so many
more for this true american. He also identified with those in need."Streets of Philadelphia".TY
I admire Bruce Springsteen very much. In addition to his being such an impressive musician, I think that he's a kind, gracious and articulate man. Cheers.
Yes love you bruce mucho
As can be seen from the interview above he’s a globalists puppet and since started pushing the experimental jabs for them. Trump is on the peoples side but too many are brainwashed by the media to figure it out.
Trump is the only answer.
To a narcissitic, lazy, delusional society circling the drain of history. You may be right.
Provided the question is "name a narcissistic psychopath who is running for president". Or another, "name the most unqualified person to run for president in American history".
Trump is the only one who will drain the Washington swamp and Make America Great Again
Donald Trump: Make America GAY Again
@losiluminados If Trump is the answer then you're clearly asking the wrong question.
Wasn't it Hilary that did not go quietly into the quiet of the night and create the biggest mess she could? Sorry Boss.
Bruce Springsteen is amazing. He's basically pointing out that if we don't talk about the issues, about the things that have affected us and mean the most to us, then we never talk about them.
Found his music in the early eighties. Love it ever since. Cant wait for next tour.
Springsteen 2020! Let's hear it!
Hunter Miller it’s never too late. If Bruce was 100 I’d vote for him
Trump 2020 I'm for Trump
No, i bet Springsteen would prefere to have a professional doing the job, rather than doing it himself. Also he wouldn`t have time for concerts anymore, that would suck. Dump Trump in 2020? yes, please. Choose Bruce? please don`t waste your voice with an invalid vote!
@@kajagoogoo9613 maybe but he’s the best rock artist
@@tammykennett5243 Biden 2020
Lovely, humble thoughtful man.
He is working hard ,singing hard with passion and love 💔
As someone who has delt with depression on my own music including yours have allowed me to deal with it .Thank you Bruce and all musicians.
Born in The USA Tour, at the Pacific Colloseum, Vancouver BC in 1984. It was a spiritual awakening for me. I have seen Bruce 4 times. EVERY Concert was great, but that first one was the best concert I have ever witnessed, bar NONE!
My only Bruce Springsteen Concert was 4th July at Wembley stadium, the original one. It was an unbelievable experience, absolutely wonderful!
BRUCE I LOVE YOUR SONGS. THEY REMIND ME OF THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT I ONCE HAD! AND YOU BRUCE ARE ONE OF THE BEST SINGER AND BELIEVE ME THERE COULD ONLY BE ONE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN HANDS DOWN XOXO
Bruce sucks.
Bruce's politics suck-as do most of our Rock-n-Roll heroes. They live in the Hollywood/media bubble and think they are still cutting edge and represent the working class. He made great music but that was long ago and far away in a different time.
Incredibly impressed. I didn't know the man was such a thinker. Would have liked more intelligence from the interviewer though.
You should really check out his music if you're surprised and impressed that he's a thinker.
Yes I think you're right. Thanks for the suggestion.
So sweet, smart, humble….I just love him🥹🎸🎶💙
I love you so much Bruce. Listen to your songs most days .....keeps me in a happy mood. Waiting for you to come to Australia next year.
Their is no need for politics, just beautiful sounding music
He gets asked a question, and he is entitled to his opinion like anybody else. Freedom of Speech also applies to artists and public figures. If you want to stick to his music, stick to his music. You don't have to listen to him talk politics.
He is such a down to earth person....would love to see one of his shows
Incredible man. Thank you so much for decades of incredibly thoughtful lyrics and music. Just awesomely inspiring.
Alan Wendy strap your hands across my engine? Bruce lyrics are about as thoughtful as a bag of lugnuts.
Terrible interviewer, handled well by The Boss.
The interviewer is German, he is a great bloke. Highly respected. You are ignorant. Sorry.
Geoff Morris well I've no idea who the interviewer is, or where he comes from (sounds British to me), but his technique and questions are atrocious in this interview and it feels like a wasted opportunity that I would regret, had it been me.
Yessss!
Those who can't criticize their country or realize that things can always be improved is playing a dangerous game.
LOL. Channel 4 news misspelled Bruce's name in the description. Professionals don't proofread, I suppose.
Also, did that RERE leave the country yet?
Arguably the most intelligent interview I’ve seen with any rock star.
ohyeah, try this one th-cam.com/video/Jkl4Yeh-BTo/w-d-xo.html
He is the American rock star icon
I’m reading his autobiography right now, it’s really a big book. It’s very introspective. I was sitting in the doctors office reading the part he wrote after his dad passed and I was sitting there crying. It was so moving
Reading it now too. Loving it.
The audio book is even better. With Bruce narrating it’s even more poignant.
You haven't changed and your values haven't changed. Remarkable, I wish more people were like you!
Would love to hear him on Trump now...
“E Street” is more than band name or slogan. For me it can be a concept or understanding only someone who can relate to this man and his songs would care about. “E Street” is about home and family and country and experience and DNA. “E Street” is universal. It is everything that truly matters.
The street was named because all the band members lived on E St. in Asbury, New Jersey
Hey Bruce... Take Bob to Australia with you when you leave 🇦🇺🤣
Love Springsteen’s laugh! Contagious
Excellent interview.
springsteen is a good man
the REAL men who served in Vietnam are good and real
Prez Chump -- take note! This is a Man and a human being...
You can only love Bruce 🤘🤘🤘
Love you, feel the happiness and peaceful at the same time. You are a good man. ❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
We're all proud to be born in the USA and so pleased to still have Bruce around making great music. And man, he certainly pegged Trump for exactly what he is - a flagrant, toxic narcissist with no sense of decency and responsibility that most of us have learned to despise.
So well said!! 👍🏼
go back to preschool
Still your President. Get over it :). #Trump2020.
How’s Biden working for you? Trump maybe narcissistic, but he kept every promise made.
@@shelleyobrien8180 you are sooooo delusional!
Yes Bruce thank you. Someone who understands why people would vote for trump but doesn't belittle them. That's definitely something the left did wrong
You apparently heard what you wanted to from Bruce and missed the subtleties and how he really feels about the "Donald" Differently a hilery kind of guy and that pretty much tells you his state of mind.
@@npsParks he very much avoided complimenting her when offered the chance is what I heard
Wish the tickets were blue collar prices !
Yes, you would think that he is rich enough to make his concerts more accessible to poorer people... I would love to go and see him (I'm British), but I cannot possibly afford it! :-(
@@carrieboultby7516 artists rarely have any control over tickets for concerts
I think its the company that organises the tour that sets the prices
There's a documentary. Springsteen and I. It's fans talking about their experiences and how Bruce has gotten them through tough times and stuff like that. There's a couple from England. They got tickets. Nosebleed section. A guy comes up to them. Asks to see their stubs. He rips them up and says "we can do better than that". Gives them some wrist bands and tells them to go further down. They keep going. They get lost. People help them out, tell them "no, you need to keep going". They end up front row. The guy who gave them the bands worked for the Boss
They still are, try to find a U2 or Rolling Stones concert for the same price
Bruce really deserves a better interviewer than this guy.
I think he deserves to be challenged and I think this interviewer wasn't a typical "fan boy" interviewer. Bruce handled it well. I'm a Trump fan. And a Bruce fan.
Tim what do you see good in trump ? I
Can tell you what I see good in Obama. But I can’t see anything good about trump
His whole life has been privilege
At least democrats fight for working people
Trump is a spoil brat who had it all handed to him. Everything said about Hillary have been debunked
It was more of a grudge republicans held and still hold against her it’s sickening.
Not only the attacks on her but Obama with infantile nick names
Conspiracy theory
Idk
It’s good vs evil decency vs shame
Brian William Trump shares my views on illegal immigration, globalism, trade, individual responsibility., Israel, socialism and I like his sense of humour and political incorrectness.
Happy Birthday Bruce! Sept 23rd.
Hope you're feeling better.
An excellent interviewer, I really like him and his personality and style.
What a normal guy. Makes me wanna listen to his music even more.
☘️Northern Irish here🍀
one quarter Irish here...the 3 quarters keeps the one quarter out of the bars
Has anyone seen Bruce and Robert De Niro in a room together?
I'm seeing quite a resemblance these days.
Anyway....good interview!
Rick R His voice and mannerisms are very similar as well.
Apparently De Niro got the "You talkin' to me?" line in Taxi Driver from a Springsteen concert
Zevon is one of the greatest lyricist of his time, and goes widely unnoticed. Springsteen realized his genius. Listen to Disorder in the House. Bruce absolutely shredding lead guitar on one of the last songs recorded by an ailing Zevon.
There is no Audio personnel at Channel 4 News ?!
He's amazing. I can tell who he is and he's real.
Love Bruce since the 80s. He was so wrong about the elections.
His TDS killed his critical thinking capabilities! He’s just Bud Lighted Himself by Endorsing Kamala & Timpon!😂
The Boss ❤
