38:57 NaF should be a basic salt (salts from a strong base and a weak acid are basic) and NH4Cl should be an acidic salt (salts from a strong acid and a weak base are acidic). other than that, nice review vid
my friend made the weirdest yet somehow incredibly easy to remember acronym for the strong acids. not sure why it stuck in my brain but i felt i should share: classes (hcl) break (hbr) internet (hi), not (hno3) sorry (hso4), clock clock 34 (hclo3 and hclo4)
Thanks for getting this out my man. I was confused to see you randomly look older between the unit 7 vid and this one, and then I realized this was released 2 weeks ago. Great stuff to cram before my exam in 6 hours :D
making the AP Chem exam on a Monday this year is barbaric, but I've been cramming with these vids all weekend and I feel lightyears better, still feel like i'm getting a 2, but I feel better!
Hey dude, not sure if you’re going to see this message, but I want to thank you, your videos have been a godsend. For how many people have already and will take chem, I’m surprised there isn’t more review content, so thank you for making my year like 2x as enjoyable. About to have my last AP chem chapter test, next it’s the AP test.
Just wanted to make a comment about the disassociation of H2SO4. It always fully ionizes and loses an H+ but it doesn't always lose it's second hydrogen. That hydrogen is more attached and the acidity of sulfuric acid cannot be found by just taking molarity -log[2*H2S04]. You must calculate how the portion of second hydrogens that disassociate from HS04- with a given Ka value.
I think you kinda messed up a little bit when talking about the acidity of salts. Salts from a strong base + weak acid are basic because the conjugate acid of a strong base is so weak that it can be considered neutral(e.g. Na+, K+, etc.), and the conjugate base of a strong base weak acid is obviously basic. The same logic applies to salts from a strong acid+weak base, making this type of salt acidic.

u right oops my b
Yeah I was super confused and was like wtf did i learn it completely wrong
Test in 7 hours and I haven’t payed attention to the class since December. Thanks for the help
Literally me since the 2nd term of my senior year.
How did the test go I’ve got mine in exactly 12 hours lol
I need to know, did it work?
My test is 4 hours away and I'm playing this at 1.5 speed
@@_The_Dumbass_ literally am in the exact same situation
@@OnePieceFan4765 1 hour left my guy good luck
watching this the night before my exam tomorrow- you're a life saver dude!
i appreciate u man. feels like you're a smart friend tutoring me
Absolutely clutch videos. I have my AP exam tomorrow and I just learned the whole course with this series. Absolute GOAT!
whatd you get?

hso4 is a weak acid you forgot the the 2🙏🏽. It should be H2SO4!

bro ong i love this man
good luck my guy we in tha same boat rn
@ 11:00 wouldnt rxn be H2SO4 ->- H+ + HSO4- bc HSO4- is WA w/ v small K val so dissociation can be ignored?
You literally make the best review videos on the internet😁
I got online exams so this is gonna come in clutch! Thank you so much for these videos.
thank you so much cararra! your efforts and help has brought so much positive light for me :) thank you eternally!
Test in 1 hour. Watching right before the test. Paid no attention to the class the entire year.
me rn
I love you Cararra, saving all of us with the exam tommorow. Ur review videos are awesome for this stuff
I've got Administration 3 so this will come in clutch down the road! Very helpful
WOW just in time for this year’s exam thank you sir!
My test is in two hours and this is helping out sm. Last day of school and I was so unconfident beforehand 🤞🤙
@Cararra 47:53 why did you assume the amount of Naoh 200ml?
49:44 how did the molarity of HNO2 go from 0.05 to 0.45?
Too bad its late. You get a pass though cause I definitely passed the exam with the help of your other videos! Thanks so much!
The king is back
Sadly already finished exam - but it will be useful for people taking the exam next year though!
I have my exam in two days so I'm glad it's here!

Why is the s negligible at 35:16 ?
cuz its less than 5% of 1.0 (which its being subtracted from :D)
taking my test on monday…time to crunch 💃🏻
Thanks a lot! Very helpful and engaging as always.

trying to cram in as much as I can tysm for the vids bro
27:55 Shouldn't the neutral pH be the square root of the kw value since the pH and pOH are equal and need to multiply to the kw value?
the neutral [h+] should be the square root, which means that the pH should be half of pKw :DD
@@Cararra That makes sense. Thanks! These videos were a lifesaver before the test tomorrow
young goat
sufi roll body🤮😂😇😘🥸😇😎☺️😒
At around 33:50, why do you ignore H2O for the ice chart thing? Is it because it's not an acid or base?
because it's a liquid so its effective concentration stays pretty constant throughout the reaction! same for solids.
You never take anything that's in liquid or solid phase into consideration.
