    Who owns the final output? Lots of people are asking this.

      Depends on when the AI companies will be paying licensing fees to the original artists whose styles have been stolen to train the AI algorithms.

    That niche video is a masterclass 🥵

    Thank you Rubidium! I have need of the storyboard generator right now, I was working through generative fill in Photoshop and it wasn't quite as fast as I had hoped.
    The other tools are very cool and useful too.

    Thanks for mentioning us! Our goal is to help everyone who works with video to streamline their work flow and make promoting their content more efficient. We're focused on building a future where AI can enhance human's capabilities for creativity and art rather than replace it.

    Boards is terrible.
    How do you keep using the "Free version" when it has like 4 credits?

    Hi, hope all is well. This very exciting, Ty for sharing. When you mask the subject in DR, can you then change the background? Nice to meet you BTW and subbed.

    We've found #SmythOS to be exceptionally adept at handling complex AI challenges. Its ability to manage large-scale datasets and train sophisticated models has been a game-changer for our research initiatives.

    People 3-4 years ago: Keeping up with social media is too monotonous and time consuming! I can't do it all!
    People now: But think of all the editors and social media people this is putting out of a job!
    It's just getting rid of the monotonous busy work that slows down creatives. AI isn't going to kill creative people or creativity. It's going to raise the bar for what can be done because video people aren't spending all day re-framing videos for vertical crops and captioning tik tok content or coming up with lame captions for faked UGC for small brands.

      Great take. The most crap there is out there, the more real creativity is prized

      Dude the market was already oversaturated with underpaid filmmakers/videographers, at least the less ambitious/creative ones had something to do - this won't really improve the situation, it only means more competition.

    • @djrt8179
      @djrt8179 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kidcoma1340 If you're losing jobs because AI, the jobs were probably not going to pay well in the first place. Things like this raise the floor, but not the ceiling. The best editor is still going to be better than AI. The best designer will be able to do better work than AI. Same with copywriters and songwriters.
      All these AI Influencers and AI models will only exist for the bottom of the barrel clients who scoff at paying anything close to realistic wages in the first place. You're not losing out with these types of things, you're maybe losing beer money.

      @@djrt8179noone starts his career being one of the „best“, you need to work your way up the ranks and take every opportunity and build a network, while also earning a living.
      I think you might underestimate what AI will be capable of in a few years, it’s not only about automated social media content creation, whole entry level positions like assistant editor could eventually become obsolete. That’s where people usually start their career, earn peoples trust and learn from the seniors.
      Personally, I started out shooting product videos for a client, for very good money, it enabled me to build my own video business on the side while also improving my skills at an acceptable rate. There are MANY businesses and clients out there with a lot of excess money and kinda low standards. Say goodbye to those

    Give it 10-20 more years, being an artist won't be a viable career choice anymore - I know it was always difficult, but now it will become almost impossible, except for a really small elite who are able to mass produce their content.

    Congratulations on eliminating jobs! Dehumanization of cinema, speeding up production past the point of the creative individuals’ ability to process and reflect, paying third parties that data mine your IP for their benefit…these are not a measure of progress.

    • @curiositycloset2359
      @curiositycloset2359 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With the state of film at the moment, can it be any worse, really?

    • @johncalhoun916
      @johncalhoun916 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      Dehumanization of cinema? As a poor person, I see these tools as giving those of us who lack the resources and access to have a fighting chance of telling the stories that we want to tell. The film industry could not care less about what obligation do we have to care about them?

      Cry baby

    • @conoreliot7439
      @conoreliot7439 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@johncalhoun916 Exactly! the film industry is prohibitively expensive and acts as the gatekeeper on what stories can be told and they've frankly done a crap job at coming up with new and original content in recent years. AI will give everyone the tools to tell stories in new and creative ways at a fraction of the current costs.

    • @andrewlutes2048
      @andrewlutes2048 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johncalhoun916 When you’re poor, it’s unwise to give away your precious creations to untrusted third parties for free, let alone pay them to take it and call it a “service”. Artistry is a more positive way to solve creative problems than to outsource the work to inhuman AI algorithms that will affect your project. Sure it might looks slick, but is it actually good?
      If you’re poor try a cheaper genre like animation, or improve your script so that it will deserve attention instead of wasting time producing popular but hollow garbage that has nothing to say. AI is the enemy of creativity and human expression. The quick and easy path leads to the dark side. It cultivates fear and hate. You think that’s just something bad-ass Yoda says because it sounds deep and makes him look cool? It rings true for a reason! Why miss out on a chance to storyboard with an actual man or woman who lives to draw and paint and has relevant memories? Why not seize the opportunity to learn to sketch, or find another humane option instead of letting an untrustworthy, opaque third party scan all of your creations before you even have a chance to make a living?

  • @NeillRobinson
    @NeillRobinson 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Wow, think of all the people this will put out of work! Storyboard artists - my bad I mean sorryboard artists- youre outta here!
    Beginner editors new to the industry getting some contacts? Getting experience doing shorts editing or repackaging content? Getting some work in your portfolio to move up? Nah, *get fxxked*, thats what you get! McDonalds is hiring!
    ADR companies, teams, RIP brah! Lighting crews and DOP’s - enjoy getting paid less lul! we’ve got autoscoping now but youre welcome at the ‘do it in post’ party! Byob tho mfers! Never really needed you anyway!
    Its all great for me - I’m not that skilled. I was prepared to work hard to *get* skilled but yippie kay ayeee now I can just wing it and get by with all this stuff..
    Hope you’re looking forward to competing on price because I have no portfolio and no overheads, but hey if the work don't pay the bills no more you can join the junior editors over at Maccy D’s, they'll prolly put in a good word for ya!

    Man it sucks to catch the tail end of a time where putting a good crew together of talented people who have worked hard to earn their skills was the ideal.. this AI shit is gonna gut the industry and we’re *all* gonna end up poorer as we race to the bottom to compete with people for whom $100 dollars is a monthly salary. I hope you can detect the sarcasm in my words ‘above the fold’. We all have to think about what shape we want the industry to take in the coming years. You can use this stuff but you’re mortgaging your future for the present.

    • @Seafox0011

      Exactly. Who needs a film market when AI can do it all - from generating scripts… through to distribution.
