- This is the all new 2024 Mercedes e Actros 600 electric truck. The new Mercedes e Actros 600 truck 2024 has an 800-volt electric axle with two electric motors and a four-speed transmission offering a continuous output of 400 kW as well as a peak output of 600 kW.
The e Actros 600 has three battery packs, each with 207 kWh. These offer an installed total capacity of 621 kWh. It has a range of 500 kilometers without intermediate charging.
Coming with CCS charging with up to 400 kW, the eActros 600 will later also enable megawatt charging (MCS).
Mercedes eActros 600 has a gross combination weight of up to 44 tons and a payload of around 22 tons in the EU.

The design doesn't quite stand out. It involves taking an existing Actros cabin and modifying the grille. The noteworthy changes lie in the lower front section. To put it provocatively, one might say: mix in some Renault T and a touch of Ford F-MAX, and voila, you have the so-called 'Gamechanger.'
If you're already opting for an 'all-new' approach and drawing inspiration from other competitors, why adhere to the compact cabin? Why not extend it, similar to what we witnessed with the DAF XG+?
Indeed, they chose to evolve the current generation rather than build it from scratch! But the design is quite interesting.

Thats proper eTruck .. Combines best from two worlds, not trying to invent warm water like Tesla does. I bet its better in everything than Tesla other than traffict light acceleration thats least important thing..
I like the looks of the truck. But with 600k range that means your cargo could be late. Also when hauling heavy loads will it still give you 600km range; add to that snow and -40 weather if you are hauling to beautiful Norway. They need to make an electric truck that can give you 1000km range and that can be charged in 20 mins so you can eat and be on the go and not be waiting hours for it to charge.

Its not terrible, like it better then what the tesla fish truck looks like.. as high tech as it is, extremely plain and basic looking. Not talking about lack of accessories but the truck it's self.
They could at least and some type of vents or something to give the front some personality.

Sorry to say, but electric truck can never be the best! In my opinion this electric and environmental madness is about to go over the edge.
Don't know what to say...look at Tesla, their cars are one of the best in the market.
Everybody has own opinion, byt as I drive a forest truck, I find that it's impossible to do that work with electric truck, as long we never start and finish in the same place, we have to use crane with hydraulic pump, we need warm cab in the winter without worrying about range after spending a night in the forest, we drive approximately 500km every day with 52 tons full weight etc.
What comes to Tesla or any other electric car- I cannot see myself driving any of those, right now I drive an E-class Mercedes and I'm happy with it.
Electric cars in northern countries... Sorry, but for me it doesn't matter, what make they are, I just don't find them attractive. And my hobbycar is 30 years old BMW with 4-liter gasoline V8 engine and I can never imagine that any electric car could create any emotions comparing to that.
As I said, all this sounds like madness to me.
For me, I think it's about cutting cost of fuel and engine oil. Electric vehicles are also bad for the environment.

Actually I would say that everything would be much more interesting and attractive, if people could have a choice, a freedom to use what they really want or need, not what they are told to use. Kerb weight of the truck is 11.7 tons. 22 tons is including the trailer, and is not really noticeably worse than a diesel truck
