My daughter did fire fighting as a summer job in Northern Ontario as a University Student. Now she's in BC working in forest health management. That northern sky from Briggs and Little is pretty! Love your moose cap! I have to get something in those books done cast on! Next weekend... I have tons of B&L leftovers and Topsy too I've picked out a pattern from each book. Vintersol is coming along beautifully! I am in a boxy phase of my life... menopause has really done a number on me. I love Camaro by Tanis Lavallée... it is in my future project plans. This year, I'll be going to NB but next year, I am planning another Cape Breton trip with my fiddle. I have not been to Sydney yet. I also want to do more trails with Riley but I do have some reactive training to do with her. She is ok with dogs off leash but on leash is another story... no manners. She is very prey driven. I got her from Northern Ontario... 16.5 hour drive... but she was so worth it. Scrappy Sunday! What a good idea! For fiddle we have Waltz Wednesday! lol Happy fire camp!
I think Kay of the Crazy Sock Lady came up with Scrappy Sunday. I love the idea because Sundays are meant for relaxing and scrappy knitting is relaxing, at least to me. Nice and mindless knitting.
Great projects on the needles once again! We haven't been to Uisge Ban Falls and it's on our to-hike list for this summer. What shows did you see? We just returned from "Punch Up" this evening. Last week my son was in "Overdue", playing the part of Jordan.
Wow, that sweater is amazing. Sooooooo much colour work, can't wait to see it finished
That is a great illustration of the importance of dye lots. Vintersol is looking so good!
Thanks! It's a bit slow going but will be worth the time put into it!

We saw Punch Up on Thursday. I really enjoyed it. I don’t know how they keep track of all of their lines!
