Thank you man really helpful i tried to do this myself without a tutorial and it was confusing and i found your video and it was well explained thank you so much.
Nice one, the manuals do do say much about using the PGM's. On the DSC alarms I think the negative connects to the PGM terminal and the positive to + aux terminal.
Howsit man, really amazing videos you’ve made here, I’ve almost completely removed the mead to call in alarm technicians for minor issues thanks to you! I know it’s been a long time since you made this but wanted to check if you’d still be available to advise if one could wire an external sensor (I’m using an optex lx-402 pir) to a relay (time delay which completed the circuit for a predefined period of time) which completes a 220v circuit to turn on a 100w led flood light? I’d be interested in doing this for multiple flood lights which would be wired to different external sensors. Is this possible to do safely?
Hi.. great video. Now my question. I have an ids 805 with the older keypad that has NO screen..just leds for output. Is it difficult to program the outputs with a keypad with NO display ? The manual doesnt explain it very well and using leds only as outputs is no easy task. I am looking to free zone 8 from the radio transmitter and use output 1 instead. Thank you.
Your radio transmitter receives a couple of different signals from the alarm ie. Panic, arm/disarm, burglary events and ac failures. You would need to supply more details in order for me to assist with the necessary steps to program with an led keypad in the binary format, by default pgm ouput 1 wil pulse on panic, 2 wil pulse if a burglary condition is detected and 3 will latch high if the panel is armed. If what you mean with radio transmitter is actually remote receiver used for arm/disarm or remote panic button wired to zone 8 and programmed accordingly the only way to get passed this will be to ditch the receiver and remotes and replace with ids bus remote receiver and ids remotes as pgm outs are for outputs only and cant be configured as inputs to arm/disarm or panic. Alternatively get the 805 keybus interface that allows the ids 805 panel to work with the HYYP app, that way you need no remotes as your phone will become your keypad provided you have permanent internet at home. Hope this helps
I keep getting false alarms with one of beams nd I don't see anything cutting the beam like an intruder it's 2am in SA nd I'm siting up trying to figure out what could be causing it
Hi. I have a LED for a Arm Follow visual indicator that is wired to the Keypad PGM. But it works wrong around, when the alarm is disarmed the LED is on and when the alarm is armed the LED is off. What can be the cause?
Really enjoy the variety of your content. Clear and concise with a lot of best practice pointers and all from sunny SA! Stay safe and keep it up!
thank you

Hi your tutorials have been awesome....please assist with a tutorial and diagram on how to turn off and on 220v lights from the hyyp app. Thanks

Just what i needed thanks

Awsome video, when the alarm triggers, will the outside light flash ? If it does how can you avoid that from flashing
Shouldn't flash

thanks. the one with no LCD display can do the same but its just more tricky to configure. You would need to consult the manual.

What app are you using?

maybe you connected to the relay incorrectly. If you used NO, then try NC.
Can you use the relay to switch contactor to switch bigger loads
definitely.
Ccan you make a video on how to connect a contactor to relay to control a geyser or other heavy loads so people know how to do it
Hi. Can I use my hyype to open my garage or gate?
If so, how can I do that?
yes. Please check my playlist for IDS alarms, there is a video there for that
ids 805
dont knw how to program. please help. i want to put delay on my zone 1 and 2. change password(pin) and use zone 8 as sensor.
