Nice video, always liked the duro but too big sadly. This new colourway is awesome too.

got mine this week along with the green for 49.99 each at Walmart and both have the fish logo on the front! Prices vary a great deal on these. Walmart and Amazon usually compete in price on a regular basis.

That's cool. I kinda wish I would have gotten the all blue one instead

@@watchify1775 I also recently last month got the all black bezel for about 42.00. That was the cheapest I’ve seen. Funny I only need one.

I enjoy your channel, and I'm wondering how do you feel about the degree of redundancy in your collection? I believe that is a word you've used before to characterize it. I've noticed you seem to have a tendency to double-up and triple-up on very similar watches sometimes, and I'm curious if you think this prevents you from spending more 1-on-1 time with and really appreciating a smaller collection of relatively few, more special watches. Not to mention that it consumes funds you could be saving to more easily afford one or two really special "grails" someday. You honestly didn't sound too enthusiastic about this watch in your brief summary and I'm not clear on what would make you want to own two of them. I'm only asking, not criticizing. Thanks and take care.

I don't mention it often but I sell watches that I would consider truly redundant. I have sold 17 watches in the last year and a half. For example I will be selling the all black duro soon and am selling my eco drive promaster. Sometimes adding one watch allows me to sell multiple watches. Such is the case with the lumed fugu I just got which also allowed me to sell my fully lumed Orient Mako XL. Other reasons I sell watches are because I just don't get the same enjoyment about having them in the collection so I think it's best to allow someone else to experience it. Some watches are redundant but I chose not to sell it because I modded it or have some other connection with it. This is the case with my Seiko SNZG13. Some might consider having more than one 200 meter diver or more than one dress watch redundant but I don't.
It's correct to say that once you get over a certain amount of watches, you cannot wear them all consistently so they spend most of their time in watch case. That doesn't bother me though as I still enjoy having them in the collection. People collect many different things like shoes, handbags, knives, gaming mice etc all in amounts where they cannot use them frequently. I view this simply as a hobby and over time the collection gets curated. If I had only a few higher end pieces, sure I could wear them more, but it wouldn't be much of a collection and I certainly wouldn't be modding them. I may sell most of my watches one day and just have a few high end pieces but for now I'm enjoying owning a wide variety of Japanese brand watches - Thanks
