Really like the look at the software at the beginning to show how all the movement can be adjusted and also the motion compensation option in steam VR, it looks a lot better and this is definitely an important game to show. Good work bro. I want your job!
An interesting vid, thanks, including seeing the roation limit in place. I wonder how that truncated movement feels in the seat. Looking forward to this with IL2, DCS, AMS2 and VTOL VR. Nice work team.
Replying here as I bought my Yaw2 direct and can't ask this on the kickstarter area. It still looks to me that the rotation (YAW) limit is only up to 360 and so can only rotate once all the way around in either direction? I'm really hoping the software allows you to set multiple full rotations in either direction before it then limits and slowly automatically returns to "centre". Even with cables we can set it up from above so that the cables can twist say 5 full turns before we are in danger of breaking them so it would be fantastic to have this option. I hope that is something that is coming? Thanks.
huh? where did you get the idea that it can only spin once in a direction? They have already showed a number of videos showing the yaw2 rotating indefinitely. 360 degrees is just the representation of a full circle and there's nothing beyond 360 degrees if you follow the sexagesimal system.
Thanks for the vidéo.❤️. I have a problèm with a élite dangerous game. Thé yaw dont work for this game🤔. I'm use a default game engin. What IS m'y problème please? Thanks
hey there, thanks for your feedback. Could you please send us an email about this to info@yawvr.com and then our software developer will help you in resolving the issue.
Hi Benjie, of course, we'll make a gameplay as soon as the pro version arrives to the demo studio which has a slip ring for the USB ports that solves the cable issue for full rotation.
Nice video yaw team thanks for this, great to get a peak to the settings, this looks promising! I was wondering if this can be set to represent the g forces differently based on what the player wants to have focus on: - use the yaw axis to represent loss of traction (rotate fast when the rear loses grip), - use the roll axis to represent the g force in curves (tilt right when the car turns left)? I noticed that the yaw axis is used to follow where the car is headed, and slowly turns until full lock. Can this be disabled so the axis is dedicated to traction loss, and returns to center slowly after a traction loss? This would be a great indication both for racing to avoid spinning out, and for drifting, to feel drift initiation, weight transfer during transition etc … it will help a lot, compared to what I currently do which is a mix of muscle memory, hearing the tires screeching, and seeing the subtle rotation during a turn.
The wheel plate looks like its flexing all over the place I'd be having to add some support to those arms & wheel plate but seriously considering this absolutely love the look of the motion for sim racing oh and euro truck sim 😀
This software will not start. I have .NET Runtime 6.0.11 installed. But it will not start. Please let me know if you know the cause of this problem. Please.😟
I'm really wanting to know if there is going to be an easy way to launch games or if I'm going to have to use autohotkey and write macros or something. Too many steps. =D Is the arcade Yaw2 going to have some software to simplify this?
Hi Benjie, starting from February, we will post updates every other week and they will be out on Fridays. We will of course still be available via email and messages, so if you have any questions, feel free to contact us. You can check our latest KS update here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/346206518/yaw2-motion-simulator-and-smart-chair/posts/3482763
Hi Adam, you can purchase our product here: shop.yawvr.com/yaw2/ Only pre-order is possible for now because there are a lot of Kickstarter pre-orders so there will be some waiting until Yaw2 gets delivered.
Great video, I can't wait to get mine. If I could ask directly I would love to know when can I expect to be receiving mine (Pro Yaw 2+ Yaw platform, late 900's backer, closer actually to the 1000 backer) I was hopping to get it by the end of last year and we are already in April. But since you probably don't want to get flooded with individual requests from every backer, it would probably be best if you: #1. Give us a more accurate production/delivery numbers. How many standard and pro/arcade versions were ordered by backers 0 to 1000? and separately 1001 to 2000? or whichever number was the last backer: 2#. And how may units of each version you can produce and deliver monthly? This way each backer can do it's own estimation. I seem to recall the CEO saying that at full speed it would be 300 units per month, and that now, with the new laser cutters, you can laser cut some of the parts at a rate of 15 units per day. But how many units are being produced now and delivered now? and how fast do you expect to increase that number? Thank you for the amazing work you guys are doing and for responding to our suggestions and comments on these videos and the email updates.
Hi Leonardo, thank you for sharing your thoughts, we'll soon publish a more exact production and delivery schedule. At the moment, the pro version has just gone through the needed testing, and production can begin for this model soon. We'll shortly finish up with the standard deliveries in EU, then worldwide shipping begins.
Does the Yaw2 help with motion sickness? This game is notorious for being a 'vomit comet' in VR but wondering if the motion actually helps with that since your body is experiencing what you would be feeling in real life?
Hi Ben, Yaw2 is designed to address the problem of motion sickness, it provides a fully immersive experience for your favorite games. The movements can be limited, reset or adjusted freely in our game engine for every game so you can find the setting that works best for you.
I requested a refund for my pre order and its been over three weeks since they told me it was processed and I still haven't received my credit, and now they are unresponsive to my emails !
hi Steve, sad to hear about this issue and sorry for the delay. The refund was initiated on the 30th of March along with a response to your email which was sent on the preceding day. Since that date, I cannot find any email neither with the email address used for the order, nor with the one used afterwards. Could you please help us clarify when and from which address you sent the additional emails? Refunds usually arrive within 2 weeks, but once we issue it, time only depends on you the customer's bank. Once again, sorry for all these delays and confusion, and looking forward to your reply to help us clarify the situation.
@@YawVR Hi, I'm hoping someone can help resolve my refund. I am trying to be as patient as possible but with nobody responding to my emails I fear there is a problem. I would ask again for somebody to check for the federal transfer number used with international wire transfers or to re-issue my refund directly a my credit card.
@@steveluria8341 Why don't you contact your bank? Some of the banks take time to process their refund (from 2weeks to 2 months/2 billing cycles depending on the bank). You're barking at the wrong tree, you won't get your answers here in TH-cam so better speak with your bank about it.

Oh and since there is a Pimax in the shelf... Would love to see that combination and a how to on the configuration and on putting the cables along
11:40 "I just did that to show the motion of the simulator...No other reason at all..."
_shifty eyes_
Can't wait to get my own and fall asleep in the rocking chair mode... ;)
Thanks for the Video, would love to see ACC and automobilista 2 and of course DCS!!
And later on Star Citizen 😉👍
In VR of course 😀

hey, sure, we can share our profile, although it's just our preferences, not a professional profile. please write us an email to info@yawvr.com
When you get the cable management added, can you release a video with full rotation?

I’d like to order one but I don’t want to wait a year or 2 to get it shipped but I may try ordering one after people start receiving theirs

Ya, it would be nice if Yaw auto-started with steam VR and even automatically detected the game being played.
Hi Peter
Can you make a similar movie withe these settings of Microsoft Flightsimulator please. That's very helpful.
Many thanks and best regards
Andy

The head looks like it’s being removed from its in-game body.
I'm kinda disappointed in the yaw, it could be a great product but it falls short for now

I don't think the yaw effect helps in car simulators. It will probably make you crash.
I think it could help simulate tires losing traction, burnouts, or drifting
