If you are struggling, use workshop mode to store the item as it is entering the container. The duped item will and can be found in your workshop after you have done this glitch! It is much easier as the timing is more generous as it doesn't remove it from your inventory if your timing is too early. Thumbs up if this helped you :)
I can attest that as of 10-13-2016, this still works on Xbox One. Takes some practice on timing, but once you get 5 or more of the same item on the belt system, it works BEAUTIFULLY! This was a huge help since I really wanted to start playing from a save that was before I single-handedly wiped out the entire Brotherhood of Steel LOL. I only clone my junk items so I can decorate settlements. I clone blood cans all the colored paint cans, the barbells and dumbells from atom cats to make gyms everywhere, I clone all my magazines to make paper stores and clone you're special books to go with desks to make a school, I've cloned the brotherhood of steels black cap, can't remember his name but the black guy with the cool black hat, (which you can take without killing anyone and making them attack you) I've cloned nitrogen cans and hallucinagen cannisters with empty iv packs to make hospitals, there's no end to this glitch. can you try something for me though I've tried duplicating holotape mainly the game ones so I can make a computer game store but that's the only thing I can't copy, no matter how many times I do it I either take it or it gets removed and thats the only thing I can't clone. I've tried using jet to slow it but just doesn't work. thank you for this glitch though I love it. there was one bad thing that happened after using it quite a lot is I went to talk to cart and she fell backwards through the ground and when she was running with me she was upsidedown with only her feet sticking up through the ground lol was hilarious though

He was saying you need to make the conveyor round, put the vacuum at the ends facing the storage and have conveyors lead around to make an infinite loop of items.
DUNKIN DOGGNUTS A bit easier if you just make a square out of vacuum hoppers and conveyor storage. vacuum takes it out of the conveyor storage and so on in an infinite loop.. so you don't have to keep taking it out of the storage and put it back in the container
scrap+store glitch works for raw materials, but not weapons/armor/ammo. say you've got 10 wood in your junk, drop the 10 wood at an allied settlement. then in workshop mode all you have to do is simultaneously press scrap and store command buttons. If BOTH the scrap and store prompts pop up you'll know you have done it correctly. It forces both commands to go thru so you wind up scrapping for 10 wood and storing the 10 wood giving you 20 wood.
Actually I have figured it out shipments work to get the original material for the glitch without waisting it( was actually keeping them in case it gets patched and have to do the other methode) and timing was actually a bit of for me to get this to work still had to be fast but pretty much had to press the o button on ps4 as soon as I let go of the x button for it to work other wise I spent 15 minutes trying to get it to work consistently
Still works for PS4 For stacks of items. Remember to drop it (it will show just one) Save or quick save. Then load the save One of the two stacks is fake. If you pick up a stack and you only get one item. Reload the save and then pick up the other stack first.

You were just a little to quick I kind of time it when the middle of item is on that shadow line. You know if it worked if you hear the pick up sound and your see the stack -1 in the hopper. And drop the 1 in your inventory, grab the stack from the hopper and drop on the floor also. The two should have the same number Save and then reload Pick one stack up, but if you go to the other stack and it just says “take” not the stack Reload then grab the other stack first.

What amount constitutes a bulk, Really? The 9 of Splattercannon became, I dunno, 10 or 20, the 50 of Aluminum became like 250, The one Overseer;s Guardian became 2 or 3, so there you go. The mod B35-C BOS heavy Armor currently has a bug that's making it to were Teagan only sells the (Right Arm) of the suit and it makes it so that I can't get a second suit for my companion. a faster way to duplicate fat man use that dropper and it will continue to go back in stand on the side and aim where the dropper wouldn't be highlighted but you have to time it just right wait until it starts to slide a lil then grab it with this you can just keep spamming the take button it does take some practice.

duping materials is easier with the workshop glitch. on ps4 you drop the stack of mats and then go into workshop mode and highlite item. then you slide from square to circle while holding circle you the double tap x. I have 100k of every mat. OP as hell
August 9, 2017 it works but it's very hard to do with small items like a hat, and big items like a minigun. So far I wasn't able to do it with any of those, but I was able to do it with clothing like military fatigues.

Yes, you still need to manually pick it up. As you continue to successfully perform the glitch, make sure to continue to drop the items that are in your inventory on to the conveyor belt to speed up the process. ALSO, if you are going to be duping the YOU'RE SPECIAL book then make sure not to use the maximum force settings in the terminal.
+Darren Dumas -- I don't think it's ever going to be patched. There really is nothing Bethesda can do about it because taking items off the conveyor is something that needs to be done. The only way that I can think of that would fix the problem is if they redesigned the game. LOL
Any else is having a glitch where your in nuka world in the reader ring where you have too fight someone but there's commander bear there as well and theres no damage taken form him
Cloning the SPECIAL book could potentially work but you would need to time it for a physics grab. Physics grab on console is press and hold the action button rather than a separate button press on PC so it would be much harder on console.
found a little bug on ps4 some items when duplicated when dropped only one shows and u lose the duplicate Grognak Costume and Righteous Authority are the only ones i tested on every thing else i done works great BUT ps4 if stand to close the ps4 removes from inventory what i have been doin is standing as far away as i can and sometimes move in and out and press x
If you pick it up by holding X and move it on to the conveyor belt without reading it, the duped ones might still give a stat bonus. I'll test it and see.
I tested it. Sometimes they give a bonus sometimes they don't. Just keep picking it up and dropping it again tell they give bonuses seem to work. Also won't let me get higher then 10 in a stat. Even after using items to lower it under 10.

I found out about this when screwing around and seeing if I could cause weird bugs. I ended up with 10 alien blaster pistols.

What's the point in duping the you're special book if the duped version doesn't give a stat bonus?
If you pick it up by holding X and move it on to the conveyor belt without reading it, the duped ones might still give a stat bonus. I'll test it and see.
I tested it. Sometimes they give a bonus sometimes they don't. Just keep picking it up and dropping it again tell they give bonuses seem to work. Also won't let me get higher then 10 in a stat. Even after using items to lower it under 10.
