The box of donuts, pink or white, from the Slocum’s Joe DLC, works wonders, because they’re high enough to when the item sinks after removing the box, it almost stays at ground level. They also work like the rug glitch.
lowkey saw someone do your first glitch tutorial video almost word for word and was like hey i know this!!!! had to give you the shoutout for being the OG. welcome back!
Welcome back! Try to keep in mind that not all consoles/pc can run the max build limit. I still have yet to beat the story end game because my game Always crashes! I try to build only things that are "needed' and leave some things empty, kind of like an old western stage where it looks all built up from the front but not the back.
Ty for mentioning the scrap mod affecting this! I’d been following tutorials for 2 days trying to fix the floors and couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong!
Note that if you need materials, the settlement size "glitch" also works if you scrap items rather than store them (resources go into the workshop). Note that with mods, there are certain items that my not scrap to any additional materials (they will show no resources when you go to srap) but they will STILL reduce the settlement size.
My normal operation is to collect every gun and most armor with added mods, dump them into a JUNK container for drop and scrap session when the settlement size gets large. If you have some levels in scrapper, you can get good rare resources AND reduce the size all at the same go.
also, floors work similarly rugs, the wooden shack foundations are equivalent to combining rug and pillar, very useful for junk walls, also the vanilla junk walls don’t seem to drop when you delete or store the foundations.
I've been using a wireless power glitch recently. It's a bit of a pain to do but my settlements look so much cleaner without wires and power poles all over the place.
My way of dealing with the size glitch is to scrap all my junk items off of the ground - this puts the pure materials into the workbench, which means you won't lose unused resources when a junk item is needed for crafting. And it lowers the size bar as an added benefit.
NEW glitch, the upsidedown placement glitch, got a tiny vid on it. Put any item on a little wall and go in workshop mode. Walk against it so the item falls over. Staying in workshop mode you can now pick it up without it resetting itself to a normal position and place it sideways or upsidedown and snap it onto or into walls or ceilings, like your hazmat suit or a junk item on the ceiling.😂 Vault ceilings work better. Tip 2 . When using the pillar glitch , when selecting all and it turns red or turns a little bit where it was green, or not turning when selecting all, take the pillar, place it again and the select all should be reset , not turning a bit and working again showing green. Being to close also blocks it, use conduits as connecting sticks between pillar and objects. Tip 3 Also on playstation holding the placement button, x, and pressing r1 while placing any object resets the placement. Tip 4 Doubletap is quickliking a comment.
I've been getting pissed because I've been trying to do shit like the wall rug move... It used to work with almost anything, remember fixing the castle walls and pushing the wooden Concrete floors into each other to make a proper wall
Back in the day, playing on ps4, you could double yor scrap count with a quick button combo. Turn say 50 steel into 100. Is that still around & can it be done on pc?
The thing I don't like about these glitches is that it messes up the npc's. My starlight drive thru is an absolute fortress. Think I reset the build limit like 20 times. All resources are at 999. But no one can go anywhere and are just stuck in walls. Also all my turrets/spotlights I have to select and reset every time I go to the settlement
I think the real problem is that you're 17 bars too big. If you're going to use the size limit glitch, you really only want a total of 3 size bars built, and even then you're really asking for trouble. Much more than 12 settlers in any settlement can cause issues.
@mmadd7 yeah, I went a little over board with everything. 🤣🤣. Now I just have a cosy home for myself and dogmeat and a warehouse for power armour and workstations. I have to say it was pretty impressive what I did 🤣
@@L0rd0fChaos I bet it was! I wish they had given us more budget for settlement building, especially after the update! We build a shack and a bed, and half the budget is gone already. Some of the settlements in game are huge, but still have such a small build limit.
LMAO. So THIS just happened... I rescue Croup from SM, down the road SM v Disciples. Me and my PA and Ada are beat to frack. So I arty the fight. As arty finishes fing Enclave used the arty noise to swoop in slow and low nap of the earth Vbird style. I get em barely. Pause I need a dew now. Life flight helo goes right over my IRL head........ I am to Old for this shit LOL OH Hiya Davey!
Ive never been able to do the pillar glitch some reason. I know how, just doesn’t work for me. It still has the collisions when i try. Rug works fine tho
The pillar glitch does not remove any collisions the way the rug glitch does. It simply makes the collisions lighter and not quite as strict. It still requires a bit of messing with it to find just the right spot that looks good and turns "green".
4 mins in and this guy hasn't really explained anything... Just waffling! And talking as if everyone knows what he's on about even though this is supposed to be a guide 👎
Not his fault you have a short attention span and can't grasp the content. Maybe your perk will proc and you'll get 3x the XP for watching the rest of the video.
The OG 3, gotta respect the ones that where there for us before “Place Anywhere” came out
These are still useful even with place anywhere. At least to me anyway
These glitches are the bedrock of modern settlement building. At least for me, since you cant always rely on Place Anywhere sometimes.
Us PS5 suckers had this mod along with dozens of others break and stop working
Place anywhere wats that now ??????🧐🙋

Remembering and relearning these glitches may get me building again
Thanks for the memory lessons!
So many new fallout players and old players returning. Keep pumping out new vids. Work it!!

You can glitch the limit on console to be infinite, and running on PS5 makes it a lot better
Thanks so much for the clue about scrapping mods interfering. No more aggravation!
You helped me so much with building back in the day, so good to see you doing this still.

Greetings, Norespawns, and thank you very much! Very entertaining as well as informative. :) I shall be reviewing this video for sure!

This vid gave me a lil bit of nostalgia, Davey. Cheers m8 🍻
Thanks for this bro, I try to play FO4 Vanilla so I needed to see some things to do some building on my survival run

Welcome back to the wasteland, the OG's return 👍
Nice to see you back on fallout 4 David, just like the old days 🔥
i just starting playing again sooo cool thanks for the videos

Currently doing this on my PS5, dunno about PC though.
ah memories 😃 hope you're doing well 🥰

Thanks ! are you going to build in future without mods?
probably not no
Mate, that would be a bloody disaster
If you double stack the rugs and delete them the items will pop down then pop back up just a tip
Explain please. 2 exactly on eachother?
I always wondered how you get the rugs back outta the ground or do they stay stuck forever
Oh yeah you are the best!
can you give the link for the mod that add the invicible rugs?
Is the costal cottage mod not going to be done or are you still working on it
Thanks for the info in the video thanks
it's delayed - i mentioned in a video a week or so ago
@@norespawns ok thanks I’ll go watch that video
Can anyone help me? Why don’t I have the concrete posts in my workshop menu ????
If I use the Scrap All mod, will the items that I have scrapped stay scrapped if I then disable the mod?
no, but the game will 'remember' what you scrapped, so reenabling it again will cause all the bits you've already scrapped to dissapear again
I hate the fact that i need to use glitchs to build a settlement lol
Wats that npc mod too tha star one????

My brain hurts i did exactly what you did and i still cannot figure this out f it. My sanctuary will just be broken forever
Well now I have to say, IT DOES NOT WORK, because you said stop lol,
but yes it does still work

Can u raise it up ? And glitch then onto a area where it is red

you need the wasteland workshop dlc
