Don't hit the GT button much (actually, only to impress / shock my buddies) but the build quality, charging speed and practicality are off the charts. Turning circle isn't great with the massive wheels & tyres, but apart from that it is a truly amazing vehicle.

      @michaelc2254 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brandoncarter2708I have one and the range is not nearly as low as the EPA rating of 206 miles. This evening I took a short drive, just charged it to 80%, and the projected range reading said 185 miles which equates to 231 miles on a full charge. It keeps getting better the more I drive it. I am getting 3.2-3.5 miles per kilowatt hour on every drive and that includes freeway driving. That equates to 240-270 miles range and I expect the projected range will reflect that shortly. I drive mostly in Normal mode which is around 430hp and is plenty fast. I use GT mode sparingly because it’s truly too darn fast for most driving. I never use Eco mode. The car is fantastic, I love it.

    SUGGESTION: For the brake test it would be informative to record the brake lights and then provide the difference in milliseconds from when the lights turn on. Knowing the speed it's easy to translate into distance and do the compensation. At 60 mph the difference measured (94.6 inches) corresponds to a difference of 90 ms.

      @@roboticvenom1935 I believe he did but in any case, the M3P does 0-60 in 3.1s and EV6GT in 3.4s so EV6 would still lose. As for size, EV6 is between M3 and MY. It is smaller than MY in interior AND in cargo space. It's also shorter. MYP does 0-60 in 3.5s so very close and more about driver than car. Finally, the EV6GT range is just 206 miles range which is pathetic. The M3P has 315 mile range and MYP 303 mile range, so they're don't only have great performance but are also super useful for every day use and roadtrips. Having had ~200 mile EV, I would not recommend taking long road trips is only 206 mile range. That extra 100+ mile range makes a huge difference.

      @@devinmurray5280 , You must be a slow driver. Which is fine, but as a M3P owner myself as well who drives not pegged at the speed limit, I'm in the low 200s.
      Both the M3P and GT would be making the same stops to charge, real world, unless you treat your M3P like an LFP and beat the battery from 100-0%.
      The greater point that you're missing is that the GT has a smaller battery, heavier, larger 21x wheels and yet it's still able to dial in ~220 miles and some change.
      When considering that normal EV habits is to keep it within 80-20%, counting beans between the GT and MYPs (even M3Ps) range is irrelevant as the bigger point here should be obvious.
      Most enthusiasts would take faster charging speeds over some range any day. To each their own, but as a fellow tesla owner, please don't try to glorify our poorly built appliance on wheels like it's anything spectacular. Let's keep it real.
      Tesla does have the best UI, driving dynamics and infrastructure, but other EVs also have good driving dynamics... Just not the other two with the UI and overall infrastructure, however; with the new tesla chargers w/ CSS becoming more available, it's helping with the poor CCS infrastructure currently.

      No squeaky panels, the springs & struts are perfectly matched, Alcantara seating, Carplay, Android Auto, satellite radio, ambient lighting, no phantom breaking, cruise control works perfectly.
      I suggest you educate yourself before typing.
      Who cares about charging infrastructure? Who buys an EV without a home charger? 18 months of ownership of the garbage Y and I used a Supercharger 6 times. It's a non-issue.
