I love this scene, because if he hadnt have saved those kids he wouldve made it, but of course hes spiderman so hes not just gonna let them get killed just to pay the rent.
And it shows how its hard for him to balance his priorities of being a superhero but also being just a regular human being who has to make a living just to live. Ahh the stresses of life.
Spiderman 2 is probably my favourite tobey movie tbh.

Tbf the time limit was originally 29 minutes, Peter only had 7 minutes to do the delivery because he was late which is a recurring thing with him for obvious reasons.

It’s crazy how much pizza places cared about being on time for deliveries back then. Nowadays my local pizza places come 10 minutes late whenever I order delivery and expect me to tip 25 percent. why tf would you expect a tip you when you didn't even come on time.

I've always figured that the sticker not ripping off fully was a gaff, and that they left it in because it it just vibes with the feel of the movie. Back when pizza places had a 30 minute guarantee, customers would make a nearly impossible delivery challenge for the sole purpose that the delivery driver would fail and the pizza would be free.
If I was Peter, (yes this is risky) I’d of delivered the pizzas AS Spider-Man. Peter is publicly known as being Spider-Man’s photographer, so it’d make sense as an in-universe explanation that Spidey was just doing Parker a solid.

I will never understand why people are like “I’m not paying for the food” if their food is late
Because it's no longer as fresh and hot. Some food does not reheat well. Also because if they say it's going to be delivered at a certain time and they don't do it, they are in breach of contract. I agreed to pay for food at a certain time, not whenever you feel like it. Competition is tough. Somewhere else will get the order right, and on time, and they will keep my business.
Especially given the context in this movie, where he is delivering to an office. Some people can't just take lunch whenever they feel like it.
