30 years and tens of thousands of units sold is solid proof that this machine deos what is says it does. The leg press is very effective and puts you directly under the load. The IM2000 lifting bar is specially designed to handle this but other similar machines can't. I have personally pressed over 400 lbs and stronger guys than me have used more. We appreciate all comments but feedback from people who have actually used this machine would be more helpful.
IronmasterPro I have one, and I like it, but it could be better. For one, I've still yet to see or receive a sound reason why you went away from the chrome slide rails. I'd much have preferred the chrome rail, WITH number stamps on the holes... (It's a guessing game every time I use it...)

@@donquixote... I wrote on mine with a sharpie. Yeah you have to redo them every now and then, but not too big a deal.
I've also leg pressed 385 on this machine. I don't see why you couldn't do more; that was simply all the weight I had.
