Well, I had a Bronco Base Sasquatch from ‘21 that got pushed and arrived in late 22. It was just too missing too many of the creature functions and basic needs so I didn’t take delivery. I had a second order was which was a Wildtrak, it finally was built and delivered a couple weeks back and glad I held out. The ride and features are awesome and with price protection it was the way to go. Im upgrading the speakers now, and will soon move to bumpers. Once my tires wear I’ll go to 37”s.

those options cost almost as much as my Bronco... lol I paid $31,210 for my Base with just 3 options, modular bumper, aux switches and a block heater, carvanna updated my offer to $42,500 yesterday lol its wild. not selling of course because its too awesome! added about $4000 worth of parts, 33" tako's on Enkei cyclones a winch and rock rails plus a bunch of little accessories awesome toys!

Waited a long time for my badlands in cactus gray, in fact just took it wheeling today and was really glad I had the camera, really glad I had the skid plates, and really glad I had the crawl gear. And yeah, glad I had the sasquatch package - I did a bit of research and ballparked a lift, gearing, tires and wheels with the necessary steering and suspension mods as more expensive than the package. Wildtrack looks good too and I would have loved that suspension on the washboard, but I couldn't have gotten the washout interior with that. Had to give up the tow package, but you CAN get a 7pin aftermarket (get the hitch, the 4pin harness, then the 7pin conversion, and the brake controller). I'm glad I have the soft top, so easy to put down, but I like in the Mojave desert where summers are brutal but winters are mild.
All that said, I thought the Heritage edition would be extra money for white paint, but actually, when you compare it to a Big Bend with mid package, sasquatch, steel bumper, and running boards, it actually SAVES thousands. If I were placing an order today, I'd really consider it.
As for video idea - and good production on this one by the way - I'd watch off-road vids if they're done a certain way: From your hours on the trail, show the highlights, which for me would be a combo of beautiful scenery and obstacles, and what I'd want to see on the obstacles is a narrated video of how you're approaching it and how you're using specific features of your bronco to negotiate it.

Glad you got to get out and enjoy your Badlands! Appreciate your thoughts process as well. Could be useful to someone else. The video idea could be a keeper as well. Stay in touch!

All Broncos come with Sync 4. The screen size has nothing to do with whether it’s Sync4 or not

So I'm thinking get a Badlands for 8k more than a Big Bend is the better balance.

I was gonna go for sasquatch but it says the pack only comes with mud tires, so got to give up on that

Wildtrak isn’t worth it. The only bronco to buy is a Badlands with the Sasquatch package. The Sta-Bar disconnect is totally worth it, the car is fantastic.
Raptor might be a thing if you’ve got a zillion dollars, but to me the Badlands is the one you want.

I'm on the fence which way to go. Badlands SAS or Wildtrak SAS. Both are great but I'm leaning towards the Badlands SAS.

If you know what you are doing, you don't have to pay $20k more to get most of the cool toys... These guys made a ton of mistakes in the video.

Good comparison. What is your prediction on reliability after 5 years?

You guys really should have done more research before the video, you are confusing trim levels with option packages. Some options are only available on certain trims, some on all trims. You could get sasquatch on a base, big bend, wildtrack, badlands, outer banks etc. Maybe explain mid package, high package, and lux package. Also constraints on new orders (sasquatch, lux, hard top, tow)

You have good points. The title of the video was what $20k in options gets you.... the was the point of the video. Not to disect each trim level. We can dive into what you are saying In a future video. Appreciate the suggestion!

Definitely does not look like the interior worthy of a $64,000 vehicle. Ford should be ashamed.

I don’t believe you can actually buy any decent new car for anywhere near $20K.
