I've actually worn lipstick more this year! It's just a little pick me up when working from home and I find I can wear matte lipsticks under a mask. Gloss has hardly been used this year! I love your whole look at the moment, you're looking so happy and healthy and gorgeous. Hope all is well with you x

danielle I have the same issue with liquid lipsticks! I think because they don't sink into the lips they seem to smudge. I find bullet lipsticks best - Kiko power matte or the Revlon matte lipsticks are both good. Anything you can do a blotted lip stain tends to stay on me or just using a lip liner if nothing else works!

I’m a teacher, I feel for the parents.I have a daughter in high school ,and we all going crazy. The day needs more hours to finish a lot of work, but I prefer to be safe than going to school and risk our lives with this pandemic. Sorry for my English , I’m from Puerto Rico

I LOVE the elf lip oil as a liquid blush. I've only tried Raspberry one but I'd like to try the other deeper colours. (I have light, dry skin)
That headband immediately gave me mermaid crown vibes. Its awesome. I enjoyed the intro about the tree/lighting. I can relate on the excitement of getting more light inside but the sadness of the tree loss.

Lol I was thinking the same thing! In a rush, I often go for the birchbox LOC shadow sticks in Rock Steady and Empress Me as smudge-y liner. They're perfect for that, so fast and simple, and if it creases, it's so easy to just wipe off the crease with a fingertip.
I think it would be beautiful on the lower lash line.

I LOVE the Paula’s Choice Youth extending moisturizer! But that being said, I’m in the over 50 age range with combo/oily skin. So don’t need a heavy moisturizer for day. It’s also a great one for the stay-at-home situation we’re in. I don’t put foundation on top. Again because I’m not going out. I haven’t seen it pill or bead with sweat and I live in FL. So maybe just not for you, but want others to know it’s a great product for the right person.

If you haven't yet decluttered that nudestix blush, i always use it with a stippling brush, picking up the product from the tube and then applying it on the cheeks, that way i can build it up and for me it blends super easily. Hope this helps:)

It's so interesting hearing people say they dislike the Maybelline Cheek Heat blushes because I actually really like the affect they give! Maybe it's because I use it more on bare skin (I don't use a full face of foundation nor spot conceal on my cheeks)? I have the shade Fuchsia Spark and I just tap it out onto my cheeks in layers and it gives me a nice flushed-to-sunburnt look. It reminds me of watercolors with how translucent it looks on the face 🤔
I have the same issue you had with the DE exfoliating serum, but with most all of them. The Farmacy honeymoon glow is the only one that doesnt make me want to scratch my face off.

Jessica, I just wanted to tell you how much I have been enjoying your video content and vlogs. They have made this time in isolation so much brighter! I am a huge fan of your philosophy towards your makeup collection. And, the fact that you don't apply your makeup in the TH-cam influencer style (lots of foundation and concealer, baking with powder, huge false lashes etd.)

Regarding the Babyfacial... When peel products tickle or itch mildly, I like to just keep massaging it lightly until it dies down-because it will after the first couple minutes. I’ve had estheticians do that on me, and I find it makes the tingle manageable. ☺️
Jessica, I do the same thing with my skincare that you do with makeup, always looking for the best. So, last week I noticed that I’m running low on my The Ordinary hyaluronic serum. It works really well for my skin type and doesn’t aggravate my rosacea. But I thought maybe there’s a better serum out there, then I stopped this thought and remembered that if it works it’s worth it to continue to use this brand. Btw, if any one is looking for an incredible essence, buy the CosRx Advanced snail 96 mucin power essence. This stuff is the best at moisturizing and makes the skin feel so soft! Also, another good product from The Ordinary is the Argireline Solution 10%. It’s great for the lines around the eyes and on the forehead.
The first time I used the DE Sukari Babyfacial, my skin was very tingly! I can use it now and it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s amazing how differently people’s skin reacts to certain products.

at 11 minutes, totally agree, once I find something that works for me , I don't try any else. it's perfect already and I need my money's worth. but the issue is when that thing becomes pricier or not available anymore and that's when you have to try again, which is sad, adventurous, but sad lol .

I totally get the whole “once I find what I like, I will just repurchase that one thing” but I have found that so much of the time cosmetic companies discontinue products or colors and by the time I need to buy it again it’s gone, and the HG hunt has to start all over again :-(
My youngest son is struggling with online classes. Having teachers in person make a huge difference for him. He needs that one on one interaction, so he can ask questions. Geometry is not something he is understanding. Algebra II is fine. My oldest is a Mechanical Engineering major and he is working it out ok. It is an adjustment. His classes are quite difficult. He has roommates to study with at least.

They were lipglue the first time around too! When I saw the hype about bringing them back (they were HUGELY popular but pretty much all gloss was sticky back then) I thought they might actually change that but apparently not.
@@allthescarves lol! they'd actually put me off lipgloss for a while because I love Lancome and was quite loyal to it for a while and received these as gifts. Then I just gave up and moved to other brands for gloss. Btw, Mitsouko's one of my all time fav perfumes and I feature it often on my channel! 🥰💗

Looked up the ingredients on the Polish Choice Exfoliate... it’s salicylic acid. Having cystic acne, I could not go without it. You can pick it up in different strengths at the drugstore for a fraction of the cost.

If you haven't tried the elf lip oils you definitely have to. I'm very picky about lip products and find that most dry me out or are a bad texture but I have the elf one in nude kiss and I've been using it as my balm, color, everything.

Video Idea! Makeup Brand Inventory: so basically you tally up all the different brands you own and how many items you have from each brand. Then you could compare those results to see if it reflects what your favorite brands are, maybe you had more than you thought from a certain brand, etc. I don't know, it sounds nerdy but I thought it could be fun (think of the graphs, the charts!! 😂)

I bought Milani I am Happy lipstick after you mentioned in another video. This Click color seems similar. And I like it.
I am with you on the aha/bha serums. Some can be too harsh for certain people. I thought I loved the one by the ordinary that looked like blood. However, after a couple of uses, it destroyed my moisture barrier. I didn’t realize it at first because my skin was smooth. I just thought my skin was dry because I was over forty, even though I was always an oily girl. I stopped using strong ahas and really watched what products I was using and my skin is not dry anymore. It is actually oily in places.
OMG DE BabyFacial is my must have. It is the type of product you have to build up using, starting a few minutes and doing longer each time if new tto peels. I've used AHA/BHA peels for years so this one is a more gentle one for me, but once a week makes a huge difference. I have a large family & school is completely virtual until at least, end of January.

I just made this realization about maskera. Nothing beats Lash Paradise for me. I bought a Bambi Eye to try and when I had used it up and started back with my Lash Paradise the first day I was so glad to have it back. Why do I stray.

I tried the juicy tubes waaay back in the day and hated it too. Haha that face you made when you rubbed it on the back of your hand was the face I made when I tried it. I hate sticky glosses
