Excellent videos. My mum’s parents came to London England probably around 1920 from Waterford. I’ve been researching records, censuses for some time. My grandfather had died aged only 51 long before I was born, and my grandmother died when I was about 9. It’s staggering and humbling to go back in time to find out more about the lives lived. Your videos help set the social, economic and political context. Thank you.

Gawd...it just breaks my heart. I'm Irish ancestry on my Mother's side and my Hubbie is Irish ancestry on both sides, so I find your Posts very interesting. Dear Lord, the suffering and abuse these poor children endured - it's enough to make your hair stand on end. We visited Waterford many years ago - Wish I'd known this - would have liked to have seen these buildings - very foreboding.

@@waterfordviking1 Yeah, it 'd better for you to concentrate on the story-telling. If I come across anyone, I'll let you know - I'm audio only I'm afraid.

O Allah, send a perfect prayer and complete greeting of peace upon our chief Muhammad - the one by whom problems are solved, and anxieties are relieved, and needs are fulfilled, and aspirations are attained and good endings are received, and by whose noble face the clouds give rain - and upon his family and companions, with every glance and every breath, by the number of everything that is known to You. All praise is due to Allah in every circumstance.
