The point of corking is to make the bat lighter, not to add a "trampoline" effect so....filling a hollow aluminum boat with bouncy balls would only make it heavier. Might be really good to train with though, and then play with a regular light bat

If u melted the rubber wouldnt the melting point of rubber molucularly alter the form of the rubber combined with the aluminum density/ weight (since more weight is more momentum and a heavier hit) there for not gonna bounce like you would think

You've lost a lot of the bat integrity by leaving the cap of the bat off. You need a hard layer to get the nice bangers.

Hey Goat, you should’ve known about those Stealth bats. When Easton went to the flex handle it made proper swing timing and mechanics much more important. That bat had near no forgiveness on mis-hits, as did its immediate predecessors. So don’t forget, a good hunter doesn’t blame his weapon.

If you hadnt filled it up,just put about half that many in.And as you swing they would move to the end of the bat.Perhaps this would have given a lighter/faster swing,and more the desired effect.

Try using the large super balls. That’s what we used waaayyy back in the late 80s early 90s. They used to be sold out of the large bubble gum machines for $1.00. Stuff newspaper as far down the barrel as you can. Three super balls go in next. Smaller pieces of newspaper to fill in open areas so the super balls can give that trampoline effect. You can also file down the part of the end cap that fits inside the barrel so that it doesn’t prevent any of the trampoline effect. If you file it down too far, you will have to super glue the end cap back on. THIS IS ONLY TO BE USED AS A BATTING PRACTICE BAT. MAKE SURE YOUR PITCHER IS BEHIND A CAGE.

Hey, Goat, I'd like to see this again with either finding someone who can weld aluminum or even if you JB Welded the cap back on the bat. Then you can swing normally without fear that the duct tape will fail.
