Ugh, graffiti and litter are so frustrating to see on a hike. Awesome vlog as usual! Thanks for your helpful info.

Pristine falls spoiled by punks leaving their mark. So frustrating. Great video though. 👍

It's just like Turnbull Canyon Road where people tag the road. There's no hope, we're all doomed.

I'd recommend graffiti off sprays but the chemicals would be unsafe for the surrounding area

Awesome hike. When I used to live in Palmdale my brother and I would hike Switzer falls trail. Off highway 2 and Angeles forest highway. It’s got a similar 40 ft. Waterfall and a rusted model T Ford engine on the side of the river. Than we would make our way to Old town Pasadena. Awesome video, and yes. Whoever graffitied the waterfall is a horrible person.

Used to be a great hike, now you have lots of uneducated Neanderthals going. They leave their trash, diapers, and blast music like it's some type of club environment. There's even food vendors on the trail. Honestly, it's freakin ghetto. I wish there would be a fee to hike, this way it would keep the riff-raff out.

I’ve been up the Razorback to the second waterfall. It takes some balls and a good amount of common sense to make it, but it’s doable. Just don’t be dumb go back if you’re scared. But man, that second waterfall is something out of a fairytale.

Was there half a year ago ...their was a terrible accident me and my wife witnessed , one person slipped near the henningger trail , on the left side of Eaton canyon . We tried to help get them back up but it was too steep , called the ambulance , they had to go down with straps and rescue the hiker , unfortunately he died when they lifted him back up to the parking lot area ..he smashed his head on a small boulder 😔

I use to hike Eaton Canyon once, maybe twice a month. On weekends it gets insanely busy to the point its just one long trail of people following each other. Not to mention the rude and dangerous people that frequently visit there (some people would climb the cliffs above the falls, knocking down rocks potentially injuring people down below). I would recommend Monrovia Falls. It costs $5 to park, but its stationed by rangers so its less busy and more friendly.

    • @tomtoms15

Great vid you find so many interesting places a lifetime SoCal person has never heard about. Keep ‘em coming! Sometimes when you are solo in a vid I get a sad feeling that the couple is not there 😟 but then see Amy and all is well! haha. Only seen a few vids today are you guys married? I was wondering have you ever heard studies have been done that if a married couple says a prayer for guidance and thanks together each day as a routine their rate of divorce is less than 1%, compared to 45-50%. Best to you guys! And anyone interested in planning a work day to put our minds towards removing the graffiti in a few hours? Does the park ever do that?

Hello! Now that it is raining again-- how many days would you suggest waiting before hiking out? I am new to L.A. and recognize that flash flooding is more sporadic in dryer areas, such as the landscape of this hike, and I'd love to safely see the water flowing.

Great video. A raging waterfall in Los Angeles county is a rare sight. I've been there many times, but it was always dry. To catch it on a good day between our weekly rains is awesome. Perhaps, you guys can checkout Mt.Baldy falls in a few weeks. Keep on.
