WOW, that must be so amazing. I'm so glad that you, and Pops had such an amazing time. Thanks for showing us the water crossings, which as you noted could be a challenge. I don't know if I am up to it, but I DEFINITELY enjoyed "hitching a ride" with both of you, Josh. Your excitement and enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. another great video🏞 🥾🥾 🌞🤠👏🏻👏🏻
When I am driving just straight through, I-15 is one of my go to highways, I've started to do more on it, I'll have to plan it to get a ticket. As a female senior, it has been a challenge to adjust to the reality of rock climbing days are coming to an end. So, I say, "Do it, until you can't! Just go as far as you choose or are able!"
I grew up here and spent alot of days up there hiking and 4 wheeling. One of the waterfalls is like a natural waterslide and people would hang out there snacking and sliding down the waterfall. There's a good bbq place in town called fire and smoke that would make for a good post hike meal.
The waterfall sounds awesome , I bet it's so cold it would be wonderful to walk in / sit or even swim , Thanks for sharing Josh and Pops while I sit here and wish 😢 ❤😅💯
I took my kids on this hike. Very memorable. :) I was surprised that it's not in Zion. I got a reservation several months in advance. Was well worth the trip from Texas, and was more memorable to me than Zion.
Ah- my favorite hike. I don't do it anymore since breaking my ankle on a different hike, but yes, it's glorious. If you're ever in the area during leaf changing season, try out Middle Fork Taylor Creek. It has creek crossings, but is less sketchy, two cabins to check out, and ends at a double arch.
Great landscapes, great scenery & great angles! As always, you sure know how to enjoy your travel adventures around! Time well spent & in good company👍
Thanks for taking us along with you. We live in Southern Utah but unfortunately my wife and I are much older than Pops so, we could not take this hike. We enjoy your channel and keep on taking us along...Much appreciated!
@@popshiking We do some hiking and we always use a walking/hiking stick as a third point of contact. Thanks again for taking us along. Also, enjoyed the 'AlCan" videos as I have done that roundtrip 6 times! in the 80's & 90's
I loved this hike when I went a few years ago. The water was so cold and raging when I went, so I wasn't able to go up the stairs at the first waterfall cause the stairs were covered by the falls coming down pretty hard. Lost a lens cap and trekking pole too in the raging water... but it was a day I will never forget.
Kudos to Pops, I wish I was 20 years younger, at 67 it's just not possible anymore for me, but hey I can still enjoy watching you guys, next best thing, so thank's....Javi G.
WOW ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE iI GIVE JOSH ALOT OF CREDIT FOR GOING ON TO THE OTHER FALLS SUCH HIDDEN BEAUTY .POPS YOUR AMAZING YOUR WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING EXCEPT YOU WILL NEVER BE A SPELUNKER HA HA ANYWAY GREAT VIDEO GUYS LARRY FROM LONG ISLAND .I ALWAYS COMMENT ON POPS VIDEO'S
This looks absolutely amazing! I did not see anyone else on that trail with you guys. Would you say this is one to make sure you have a hiking buddy? Looks amazing but remote.
This is where Nomadic Introvert hiked, unprepared for the freezing water. She made a video then refused to say where the Falls were, like it was a secret. Then she deleted the video twice bc ppl figured out who the "hiker guy she just met" was, among other things smh. Anyway...thanx for sharing. It never gets old, wish I was there.
Wow! That's a beautiful hike, Josh and Pops! (Minus the flies!) I'm definitely adding Slot Canyon to my hiking list! How far is Kanarra Falls from Zion NP? Hope you're having fun on your road trip! Safe travels! 😊
Breathtaking! Hopefully, I’ll be able to go one day! What’s the approximate total length of the entire trail? From the parking lot to at least the 1st waterfall?
What shoes do you wear when hiking through a river/creek like this? I'm just wondering since watershoes dry pretty quickly but give no support to either your feet or ankles and generally provide near to no grip. While trailrunners or hiking boots/shoes are not really made to be underwater like that (I imagine). Hence my question, because I want to do hikes like these in the future as well. First back here in europe until I am able to realize my dream to migrate to the US for my dream job/life. Anyway, great video, I always enjoy your videos. It inspires me for places I want to visit.
Sans déconner, ils ont carrément fait un escalier ? Lol ! Quand j'y suis allé c'était juste une simple corde ... Bien plus FUN et moins de monde du coup !
If this place were in Southern California there would be trash and graffiti everywhere. I am glad it’s another state because people will respect this beautiful place more .
That was such a unique and beautiful place. Well captured in this video.

Awesome! I just did this hike 2 weeks ago. I live in Las Vegas and it has become tradition to do this hike at least once a year to escape the heat.
So beautiful! Thank you!
Wow, what an amazing adventure. Stunning scenery.

What a beautiful trip through the canyon glad the water is less than knee deep what a wonderful trip and memories with your Pops
Thanks so much, we really did enjoy it!
Beautiful scenery and excellent commentary.
One of my favorite places to hike in southern Utah. The river is really flowing. Wow. The geology is fascinating as well! Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it! It is such a special spot for sure!
So beautiful! You guys sure are adventurous!
Appreciate that, we try!
The waterfall sounds awesome , I bet it's so cold it would be wonderful to walk in / sit or even swim , Thanks for sharing Josh and Pops while I sit here and wish 😢 ❤😅💯
It was too cold for us to swim in it but I am sure it is popular in the summer if there is enough water still
Great video as always 🙏
Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
A big wow for both of you. It's fun to travel with you
I love seeing you dad in your videos he is so sweet ❤️😭
We have a great time! Thx for watching.
I’m glad someone replaced the ladder that used to be there. It was really iffy.
Yea the other one looked a little crazy to climb

Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 😊
That new ladder is an eyesore
I did like the way the old one looked in the photos I saw but I never tried to climb it
Utahn here! I've never done this, but I had a college roommate from Kanarraville, and she loves it!
Beautiful video!

You and your pops' enthusiasm is infectious! What a beautiful trail. Utah is one state I've never been but it's high on my list.
It is such a beautiful state, so much to do there!

It is a little over an hour, it is often used as a backup to hiking the Narrows for people if weather stops that.

Wow! Beautiful place. I don't know if I want my husband to watch this video 😅 it gives him another reason to go back to Utah 😂
haha there is so much to do in Utah!
Beautiful. What kind of shoes do you wear for something like that? I'd be very worried about blisters. Thanks for the wonderful video!

What month did you hike this? We have a permit for this month (August) and curious if this recent. Thanks!
You mentioned visiting in the spring. What month did you go. What camera equipment are you using?
We went in early May
I wasnt aware of this place. All the times i’ve been on the 15 and just passed by. Not anymore
I hope you can do it next time!
@@ThroughMyLens i definitely want to try! Thank you for highlighting the need to book early!
a tote umbrella could be useful out in the sun.
That is true, I have used those in the past
Don’t go during thunderstorm season

Hold on. I just saw Pop's video where he was in Detroit. How can he be in two places at once? :-D
haha he is magical!
I just hustle!
