The demon taking hundreds of years to finally come up with this amazingly smart plan was icing on the cake. That smart af to trick someone into giving them the owners item, allowing them to become their own guardian. I hated the writing up til this point, thinking it was just another dumb character movie. That was a stupid good ending, in favor of the evil. Which isn't a very common theme of allowing the enemy to win in a movie. I was impressed at the ending.
This is by far one of the easiest to beat creatures out there since it's extremely limited by many things, particularly by having an owner/guardian and it cannot directly harm them. But humans always find their ways to die miserably no matter how easy it is to avoid all of this.
Honestly, the biggest threat to humanity is just our own stupidity. Greed, selfishness, evil... those are bad too, but honestly, just being purely stupid and easily manipulated causes so much more damage.

If you know 2 minutes is the limit, you need to only allow a minute, 1 minute 20 secs most. that's the standard. I always think this in movies with sensitive "or else" time limits (like "talk to me"). Give yourself extra time incase it is not easy to stop. That way your friend could body check him, while you bag the head if he doesn't let you right away (or pull you away depending on the scenario) why wait till your time is up to try to end it, now you have to rush and only have 1 try before it gets dicey.
Key to basement could be in Iris bedroom, but how Katie jump to conclusion that Iris is in basement when door to basement are closed and key is i her bedroom. It's biggest plothole in this movie.
im be put the not cross here between the 2 chair, and order it to only do what i say, also be use multiable type of protection spells like copy the writing the door have on a jacket
Instead of all of that, Neil could have asked Iris to sign over the deed once her friend was dead, bc he had a plan that required him to be the owner or some lame excuse like that. She would have definitely signed. The girl walks, he stays with Mrs. Creepy down there and all happy
It and Neil were down in the basement. As soon as it told him she was there, she could have just said "restrain Neil" and been totally safe. What the heck?
Step one: "Hey demon, go back into the wall and stay there until I tell you to come out." Step two: Leave and never go back. Let the creepy lawyer have it.
wouldnt work as well as you think. unless you gave it a specific phrase you would never say to come out with. but it also can influence you the further away you get
She should have been setting 1min 30sec timers and telling him it was 2min to give herself a buffer to stop the ritual, and that’s only if she insisted on using the damn demon.
Honestly, this movie makes me mad. This villain might be only one where you guarantee not even spending 5 minutes in taking it out forever. Yet Iris still somehow fumbled
Dude who was trying to summon his already deceased wife just to check if she was cheating on him..... If he gets unalived by the demon, then there are no regrets.

10:05 Gotta leave a like for the RuneScape comment
why is my first instinct to want to talk to it as itself...like, sit down on the chairs and have a chit chat with the demon
Honestly, the biggest threat to humanity is just our own stupidity. Greed, selfishness, evil... those are bad too, but honestly, just being purely stupid and easily manipulated causes so much more damage.

Bro a friend of mine checked out all aof my crushes social media since he got rejected by her and somehow found out that she got a boyfriend on one of her friends accounts and sent me a screenshot of it. My pain is immesurable and I feel absolutely disgusted. We had such a great chemistry. It'll take years to recover from this. Nobody cares but hopefully your day is better than mine. Just hope they break up someday lol
I feel Katie had more main character energy than the actual main character since she was the one closest to solving the case.
Wow, I like that it doesn’t go for the “feel good “ ending but some real shit. The fucked around and now everyone else is going to find out. 👏 definitely deserving of The Gentleman clap (if you are curious about the reference I made I will enlighten in a response)
I'm going to need you to elaborate on the context there
Will they really though? So far she has only hurt people who exploit her abilities for money or use her powers knowing full well that she doesn't consent to any of it.
@@firestorm165 The Gentlemen were from an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I just remembered the scenes where they silently smile, nod, and golf clap for each other after they do they do what they do
If you know 2 minutes is the limit, you need to only allow a minute, 1 minute 20 secs most. that's the standard.
Hello from South Sudan
I think it might be after 27:34...does Katie manage to get into the scary room WITHOUT the key or am I wrong?
Key to basement could be in Iris bedroom, but how Katie jump to conclusion that Iris is in basement when door to basement are closed and key is i her bedroom. It's biggest plothole in this movie.
@@VonPaulus1944 I hate confusion in movies.
We are still taught runes in Dalarna, Sweden ❤
all she had to do was 1.Tell the ghost to bring her friend out of the hole 2.Tell the ghost to kill Neil instead of running away
im be put the not cross here between the 2 chair, and order it to only do what i say, also be use multiable type of protection spells like copy the writing the door have on a jacket
Never been this early to a yt video before, wassuuuup!

Great video.
great video!
Instead of all of that, Neil could have asked Iris to sign over the deed once her friend was dead, bc he had a plan that required him to be the owner or some lame excuse like that. She would have definitely signed.
The girl walks, he stays with Mrs. Creepy down there and all happy
Great video! The easiest answer was not answer the phone from an unknown caller- it’s probably spam.
It's more terrifying to know that when it comes down to it the fate of the world is in the hands of idiots most of the time in these movies.
hey sweet home is getting another season so get ready to make a how to beat sweet home part 3.
*SWEET HOME ALABAMA!*
See what happens when Geralt leaves
have a damn good day.
It and Neil were down in the basement. As soon as it told him she was there, she could have just said "restrain Neil" and been totally safe. What the heck?
Do How to Beat Twisted Metal (the TV show, not the game)!!
Step one: "Hey demon, go back into the wall and stay there until I tell you to come out."
Step two: Leave and never go back. Let the creepy lawyer have it.
wouldnt work as well as you think. unless you gave it a specific phrase you would never say to come out with. but it also can influence you the further away you get
Have a damn good day (breaking the sound barrier)

What’s the background music, sounds great
ngl it was a amazing movie it needs a part 2
Literally, all she had to do was tell the creature to kill Neil 🤦♂️
She should have been setting 1min 30sec timers and telling him it was 2min to give herself a buffer to stop the ritual, and that’s only if she insisted on using the damn demon.
Ever thought about covering The Evil Within? It's a super intense horror game with a very interesting story.
Please make a video on the Indian horror movie named tumbbad its about an evil god. I think you will like it.
It's a win from me for the demon, she deserved better.
Also f Neil and his tablets.
1 of the best videos ever
Honestly, this movie makes me mad. This villain might be only one where you guarantee not even spending 5 minutes in taking it out forever. Yet Iris still somehow fumbled
After hearing the convo she could’ve literally told the demon to kill or even subdue Neil but instead she ran
They f%Ed up fr 👀😭💯 … Have A Damn Good Day!
Dude who was trying to summon his already deceased wife just to check if she was cheating on him.....
If he gets unalived by the demon, then there are no regrets.
I'm glad that I don't waste my time watching these movies. The level of stupidity on display in the face of supernatural threats is staggering.
what movie is that at 3:52
Looks like Stardust. It's a great movie, you should watch it.
Did you try the title of the video
