- It's true. She managed to drag me away from the cluster of surf spots surrounding Cloudbreak. It took some leverage, but eventually the wife always wins!
Truth is, I'm glad she did. As we sail through the Mamanuca and the Yasawa island chains, we find uninhabited islands, swim with giant rays and are left speechless by some incredible anchorages.
Oh and I make a pretty serious pinky promise....
Fiji is magnificent. My wife and I found a tiny island resort that was heaven. Took my watch off, rose and slept with the natural light cycle, and ate when they called us with a drum. No Internet. Snorkeling and sailing the days away. Such sweet people. Thanks for bringing us along.

Great video, we swam with Manta Rays at Lady Elliot and Ningaloo Reef, never forget the amazing experience. Floaties way better than a life jacket, learn to swim and snorkel very quickly. One very lucky daughter getting both loving parents spending all their time with her. Doesn't happen much these days.
thanks very much. and yeah we are trying to soak up all our time with her at this age. it was one of the reasons we made the call. no regrets so far. and lady Elliott! its been on our list for a while. good o their there's mantas out there

ha well it might seem that way, but man - sometimes we spend months - one time 3 months solid by ourselves or only with one other boat. being in a little community of sailors with tales at the bar is a joy! you have to mix it up
