Ya but what isn't mentioned is the criminal records of this guy and all the other guys he's done this stuff with, like that ally law guy & Ryan Taylor etc!. That have been banned from entering practically every tourist attraction, sports venue, multiple bridges, banned from entering multiple countries, are on terrorist watch lists in multiple countries across the world!. Are being sued by multiple companies/businesses including football clubs!. So ya what he/they get upto might sound cool and a laugh but their lives are ruined!. They will be hazzled, stopped, arrested at any opportunity!. They think it's freedom but they literally cannot do anything without being actively monitored or stopped at airports, ports, train stations!. So ya doesn't sound very exciting does it when you take all that into consideration!.

It’s honestly possible that the person that rescued them was working with the guy who stole from them, often thieves in the Paris catacombs will send someone in afterwards with a speaker to rescue them to avoid being responsible for people dying.

That's under the assumption that the people they abandoned stay put like Harry did though. It's for sure really likely that in the SIX hours it took for the dude with the speaker to get to the exact same spot that the people they left would have panicked and bolted into some random direction.

Yeah, this did cross my mind also. I find it hard to believe a guy just turns up exactly where they are when they’ve walked 45 minutes through a maze of tunnels. You’re talking miles. I hope it’s true because if it isn’t then that guy truly is a fucking monster for doing that to them lol.
What if they had tried to get out by themselves and got completely lost and that guy couldn’t find them though. Such a risky and scummy thing to do for a fucking camera lol. The speaker does make sense now though as they’d hear it and find him without him having to shout and make it obvious that he’s in on it

Especially in a mass burial ground of 3 million dead people. You do realise what the catacombs are dont you? The walls are literally real skulls and skeletons. Just search it and you will be shocked what they really are.

Elton from "TFIL" (youtube channel) also went to the catacombs with a guide and in the middle of it the guide completly just left them and elton had to use his camera that with it he recorded his way thru the catacombs so reviewing that footage was his only way of knowing from where he came from and the only way he made it out

There is a TH-cam channel called TFIL that went to the Paris Catacombs, they entered through the same place he did, they travelled far and then they got left by them selves, luckily they where recording, they watched the footage back and found thier way back

TFIL was also left by this guy and they recorded it and got out alone
That was staged though. At the end of the video, you see the guide's text to them saying "hope it made for a good video ;)" referring to the fact that they asked him to hide from the camera and pretend he wasn't there anymore. All of their videos are amped up, actually.
@@joetriestothink I thought they text message was referring to him leaving on his own to make their video more interesting, and like staying behind without them knowing to Dave them if they actually got lost.
I think 100% probably could be faked but they showed those texts for that context :)
@@livea9258 It's the winky face that made it an agreement, and he wouldn't have stayed there without them knowing because it would have been a massive waste of his time. They did what they always do, which is play up to American interests as well. You know they say things about how they feel like they're bagging behind, feel weird, being watched, the Paris catacombs aren't considered by the French to be haunted, so you can be sure that TFIL is just being extra spicy.
Besides, I think there are numerous timestamps where people point out Steve's headlamp being in the back because with a headcount it's the only one who can be there, and they couldn't have possibly missed that. Regardless, it's impossible to backtrack through 4 hours of footage and perfectly make it back, with how tired they were they would have made mistakes. It'd have been more realistic for them to have been found by someone, considering the culture that is the Paris underground (pretty cool stuff).
Anyways, all their videos are staged. Can you imagine going to like 10 different "haunted places" and always getting enough footage for the camera? I've seen ghost hunters have less, but TFIL gets their views off shock factor, which is fine. Just makes me less interested cause it's not as genuine.

Nightscape is wrong, they didn't put the bodies in the catacombs when they died of plague. The networks of tunnels were originally mostly DIY mine shafts dug over two thousand years. The cemeteries of Paris which were so full that the walls of adjacent properties would collapse due to the weight of bodies under the ground and charnel houses surrounded the entire plots by the late 18th century, the networks of mining shafts were used to move most of these human remains in the last years of the century.
One of the best yet loved it :)

Same thing happen to tfil, Elton castee. They were following a dude for 13 miles, 4h and he left them and disappeared.
I keep saying this at every comment referring TFIL, (so I know it might get annoying) but that video was staged.
He never left them. They just didn't show him on camera after he supposedly wanished. They made the video to deterr people from going down there with people that you have never met before. "Never, ever do this." Also they made it as a demonstration on how to get yourself back out if you get lost. "Film the entire thing and then retrace your steps."

To be honest Nightscape doesn't take time to appreciate life, doing risky stunts and such got him into this mess. Any smart person will find a trustworthy guide, pay them half for taking them underground then pay the other half when they get out. No map no food,water...what a joke. No offense, but there's definitely some more growing up to do on his part.
