When I was there I couldn't seem to meet new people and make new friends.... Seems the same everywhere. America is a lonely place. But we can make things better by caring for people we meet or encounter who may need urgent care. It was depressing to see the girl behind the dumpsters not knowing where to go. Never pass by someone like that... it's not easy to find help for people, but life tends to bring people help in time of duress...

When your city defunds the police not once but TWICE since its "summer of love" in 2020, enforcement priorities change. We'll see if it cycles again.
