More like "No Momentum vs. Momentum"

Some decent tyres and suitable pressures for offroad driving make a difference too. At the powerlines you should be running 20-25psi.

You confused me (giorgos ka) with vid`s maker (goldendrof). However i`d like answering to you explaining my opinion . Both Pajero and challenger are good off road vehicles as they have locking diffs to the rear axles. And i agree that traction control is an advantage for a 4x4. What i want to focus is that challenger has a bad traction control ,considering its try in the vid. My car has TC and functions almost as a locking diff without stopping even for a bit .I`ve experienced TC many times.

You let it stop the first time...second time there was more speed and trottle....and did you turn of ASR/ASP?

yeah all these are possitive factors for off road But what the mate did with diff lock ,i could do the same with convenience with my traction control

At least the actual Pajero has very good traction control. But in 4x4's where is no adjustment for the TC, it is better to have it so that it doesn't cut in too fast at the first spin, because otherwise it would be trouble on surfaces like sand. After it cuts in, and you keep throttle steady, it should still work continuously. Still, I would give a try for different driving style, because you gave up very fast in this video. Traction controls are adjusted differently in different vehicles.

Nice video, but the comparison is not very professional, as the traction control requires specific driving style in order to work. The driver released the throttle way too early at 0:16, the TC doesn't toggle that fast. The throttle should be kept steady all the way, until the tc starts to work and takes the vehicle over obstacle. Every time the pedal position is changed, it can recalculate, and start all over again. But nice comparison still, and indeed locker is easy to drive.

This is not traction control,if you look at 0.14 you will see that the front wheel are not spinning, should be spinning the same speed as the rear wheel, and it is not which tells me you either didn't have it in 4wd or you dont have traction control on the challenger.
If you look at my video of my older NP pajero which does have traction control you will see all wheels moving at the same speed.
Challenger still a good vehicle though,

they have traction control & rear diff lock

no ,traction control should have functioned at this very case (as it didn`t at 0.13 '') and TC should have been so fast as to keep going without stopping. my car has TC and i `m sure about it. Most of my friends have cars with TC , so i dare say this vehicle hasn`t reliable TC

the vid may be real but this is not real traction control. It doesnt work well showing as open diff .Maybe this brand hasn`t a decent system and the comparison might be through youtube videos.I suggest a vid ``air locker vs LSD vs traction control part 2 `` and then you`ll figure out some small existent differences between traction and lockers. thanks.

BS, first clip u stop, second clip u put gas to it. Get better tires and learn how to drive, my challenger would fly up that hill without diff locks
