The Agnetha's piano here sounds exactly like in Chiquitita or The Winner Takes It All, the high notes are not so expressive like it used to be in seventies or in the beginning of eighties. But the skill of the way she transmits the whole pallette of emotions - it's a great skill. It's a pure genius - clean & ageless.

In case you haven't noticed, many of ABBA's old videos have vanished, their every video with the slightest hint favoring free speech and/or freedom of expression have been deleted. If you don't believe me, try and find ABBA's So Long videos, the ones where the girls wore their cat costumes. These older videos have started disappearing shortly after ABBA's new videos came out, videos so popular they've made the Commie types a bit nervous about gaining control over everything we do, and it's my guess they're flexing muscle to show us they are in charge, not ABBA.

My deceased uncle was a huge fan of Abba. He had lots of cassettes but I never listned to any of their songs till the 1st Lockdown In India, and from that time till date I listne to their albums over and over.
Agnetha is a vocal genius. She's one of the greatest pop vocalists - like Dusty Springfield or Karen Carpenter or Karin Krog or (even) Doris Day - who can convey the meaning of the lyrics while simultaneously sounding as if she's singing to you personally. There's an intimacy to her singing that feels uncanny.

I love this song. It still brings me to tears. I hope it's released as a single, but in the very prudish United States, it will probably get little play because of "screw you". Or that will be bleeped out. But those words are exactly the ones that fit the situation of the song, and I hope radio stations take the time to really listen to the song. And what to say to the listeners who complain? I believe the song suggests the proper response.

This song is incredibly touching. I guess lot of people feel concerned by the story it tells. Each and every abba song tell a story so real. It's hard to imagine thas these are only fiction as Bjorn says. Probably part fiction and part souvenirs. Like in keep an eye on Dan. Anyway. This album is beyond perfection. This is real music, wrote by a real composer and arranger. This are high level lyrics with each word choosen on purpose. Read this song. It's a poem. I feel so good to hear these songs so touching and perfect. Well above a majority of today's songs. But it's only my opinion.

Songs "that tell stories" are perfect in Agnetha's voice. She knows how to interpret like no one else! The sound is very reminiscent of the ballads of Agnetha's solo albums from 83-87.
Auf dem album ist alles drauf, was abba die ganzen fünfzig jahre lang gemacht haben. Inclusiv der soloplatten von agnetha und frida. Selbst songteile aus dancing queen und sos wurden mit eingebaut. Das ist die ganze persönlichkeit im album und das mal vier. Ich weiss nicht, wie weit das pippi langstrumpf musical ist, ich tipp mal drauf, das frida und agnetha auch dafür demosongs aufgenommen haben.

Agnetas voice has naturally changed with age. It's a little softer but at the same time delicate coloured by the years that has gone. It just natural and we shouldn't compare her with herself for 40 years ago. She got "another" feeling and voice now that connects with who she is today. Just the way it should be. 'I Can Be That Woman' is one of ABBA's best songs its absolutely beautiful and its one of Agnetha's best vocal performances the ability she has to tell a story through singing is sensational its one of my favourite ABBA songs.
When yo hear this song you can conclude only one thing: these four Swedes are just as fantastic as they were 40 years ago! The men are still ridiculously musical. But then the voices of the women... unbelievable how well they have withstood the test of time! Annifrid's voice is a little deeper, but still very beautiful. And then Agnetha's voice, still as vulnerable and high-pitched as before.
We really need to appreciate the fact that after so many years, ABBA managed to bring nostalgia back to their generation and in the same breath get every generation that came after to appreciate real music. In a time when music is all we really have to distract, inspire, uplift, comfort and console, I'm glad we got this.

This song reminds me of "The winner takes it all" in many ways. They are not in their thirties anymore. However, Oh! the maturity I can see and feel from the whole song. Yes this also reminds me alot of The Winner Takes it All..it was about the time that the band was breaking up and Annifrid and Benny..and Bjorn and Agnetha were also breaking up also... In that song though The Winner takes it All.. You could not only see the pain and emotion in Agnetha's face and eyes..but in her voice also..and while it was a beautiful ballad like this one was also..it was at the same time heartbreaking.

In case you haven't noticed, many of ABBA's old videos have vanished, their every video with the slightest hint favoring free speech and/or freedom of expression have been deleted. If you don't believe me, try and find ABBA's So Long videos, the ones where the girls wore their cat costumes.
These older videos have started disappearing shortly after ABBA's new videos came out, videos so popular they've made the Commie types a bit nervous about gaining control over everything we do, and it's my guess they're flexing muscle to show us they are in charge, not ABBA.

Und irgendwann kommt es zu den anderen von Abba ins Regal! Und noch etwas: Wenn ich dieses Album höre, dann habe ich immer die Gesichter der 4 Macher im Kopf, so wie sie heute aussehen, mit über 70! Und das fühlt sich völlig authentisch an! Die Idee mit den Abbataren finde ich auch cool, für das Konzert! Aber ich verbinde die neue Musik mit den vier Leuten, wie sie jetzt sind! Wir alle sind ja auch in die Jahre gekommen und immer noch hier! Dass sie das Album für uns gemacht haben nach 40 Jahren, dass ist sowas von toll! I love this song. It still brings me to tears. I hope it's released as a single, but in the very prudish United States, it will probably get little play because of "screw you". Or that will be bleeped out. But those words are exactly the ones that fit the situation of the song, and I hope radio stations take the time to really listen to the song. And what to say to the listeners who complain? I believe the song suggests the proper response.

This song is incredibly touching. I guess lot of people feel concerned by the story it tells. Each and every abba song tell a story so real. It's hard to imagine thas these are only fiction as Bjorn says. Probably part fiction and part souvenirs. Like in keep an eye on Dan.
Anyway. This album is beyond perfection. This is real music, wrote by a real composer and arranger. This are high level lyrics with each word choosen on purpose. Read this song. It's a poem.

Auf dem album ist alles drauf, was abba die ganzen fünfzig jahre lang gemacht haben. Inclusiv der soloplatten von agnetha und frida. Selbst songteile aus dancing queen und sos wurden mit eingebaut. Das ist die ganze persönlichkeit im album und das mal vier. Ich weiss nicht, wie weit das pippi langstrumpf musical ist, ich tipp mal drauf, das frida und agnetha auch dafür demosongs aufgenommen haben.

When yo hear this song you can conclude only one thing: these four Swedes are just as fantastic as they were 40 years ago! The men are still ridiculously musical. But then the voices of the women... unbelievable how well they have withstood the test of time! Annifrid's voice is a little deeper, but still very beautiful. And then Agnetha's voice, still as vulnerable and high-pitched as before.

These are the best lyrics in the Album. Describes a in a slow motion a moment in time when the woman meets her husband after long time of departure. The problems in her past illustrated in a delicate way from her point of view. so cinematic. can easily feet to the next musical. the dog... the eyes... perfect.
This is fast becoming one of my favourite Abba songs because this song speaks to us as if through the eyes of their dog Tammy and as this couple fight to the final brink, the dog is the first to notice there is still a chance of reconciling the relationship.. this song is touching as it is genius. I think this is the very best of the new album - I can see why it annoys some critics (especially critics who dislike dogs...) but like some of Abba's best it tells a simple story with elegance, simplicity and a glint of hope. Just really touching.
