Biology aside, the animated Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent look similar enough that if someone didn't know them well, they'd swear the two men were brothers.
That was actually a plot point in Superman American Alien. A young Clark was mistaken as Bruce by a bunch of rich people like Oliver Queen. Even Deathstroke thought he was Bruce.
In the comics, Clark gets mistaken for Bruce on his birthday, has a party on a huge boat, gets super drunk, and smacks Deathstroke past the horizon (someone ordered a hit on Bruce on his birthday, not cool)
That because there are some writers to prefers to have heroes fighting each other rather than villains, probably cause they watch Death Battle or something...
I know it's more popular to pit these two against each other, but honestly, seeing the two as best friends and brothers-in-arms is in some ways way more satisfying.
Yeah the Superman Vs Batman thing feels like such a surface level reading of these characters. Like oh Superman is nice hopeful, and Batman is dark and brooding so they must fight! But to me, what made their relationship interesting was how different they seem on the surface, but morally they’re alike, they have the same drive and desire for justice, and that’s what makes them best friends.
Superman vs Batman is ok, when it's their FIRST MEETING and they don't yet really know each other. The way the DCAU handled it in Superman The Animated Series was excellent. They were at odds initially, because of how different their methods were, but it wasn't long before the respect developed, and from there a friendship was formed.

@HARBRINGERZERO it depends on the timing. You need to focus on something to use your senses on their greatest potential. Superman has better hearing than a normal being. But he still has to "focus" on the hearing to detect Batman running away.
