Could you PLEASE make a video on skincare specifically for VERY dry, mature skin? I’ve tried both low-end and high-end products, but nothing seems to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I would REALLY appreciate a video tailored for people with VERY dry, mature skin. Thank you! 🙏
Unsure if you've seen it, but they did a video on mature skin about a year ago. If you do a search on their TH-cam home page, it should pop up as one of the first ones. You don't mention where you are on the age continuum, but they describe the video as covering "40s/50s/60s and beyond"
I don’t think they have a large vocabulary of products to give to us. I watch Kelly Driscoll on TH-cam. She won’t stir you wrong and she has a large amount of product knowledge and experience with k beautiful and j beauty. She has a tutorial up now. Barrier products for damage skin barrier.
Mix glycerin and any hyaluronic acid toner together with same quantity. Like 2 teaspoon glycerin and 2 teaspoon hyaluronic acid toner. Then apply it in your face and massage gently for 5 minutes in your clean face and leave it for 2 hours. Just give it a shot. If it does work don't forget to let me know 😊
Step 1. Stop the adapaline. 2. Start tretinoin every 3 nights , then every other night, then every night. Increase frequency as tolerated. Wear sunscreen.
Fun stuff here today! We went to Norway above the arctic circle this summer and they put cloudberries in all kinds of food. Delicious, but I don’t know about on your face. And I used tegaderm to hold lidocaine on my port before each chemo round - it really helped.
Ther's a pack of 50 compressed masks you can make with your favorite serum/toner. You get months of masks for the amount of a couple of Starbucks cups worth of waste. I keep masks on for at least an hour, that's what really makes a difference.
The only thing I like face wipes for is at the beach. I took a pack of aloe face wipes to the beach and used them to remove the salt from my skin and it helped so oooo much. Last time I went to the beach without them I had to leave because the salt was burning my face so badly. Not this time!
@@laur83 They were a lifesaver. Something I was able to wipe on my face that wasn't immediately covered in sand? Amazing. Just had to be sure to reapply the SPF wherever I wiped
@@pandorajj Not a fan of using drinking water, as I'd rather drink it, and even with a spray, I'd want to wipe after, and towels/cloths are just sand magnets. The face wipe worked literally perfectly, idk why I'd change something that works
Solawave may not be doing anything but I do it at the end of my skincare routine and its just nice. I just watch tv and run the wand over my face. It has made a difference Im sure its just the massage Im doing but my jowls that were attempting to appear have disappeared. Warming red light massage is just so relaxing plus Ive had a few compliments on my skin so its doing something
I’m not the best with skincare, and I have the solawave wand and other products and I like it. I wasn’t feeling all the hype it got at first, it took me a while to get it, but it did catch my attention and I got it to try it out. I honestly only use it once or twice a week and I do see and feel a difference. I’m sure there are other better stuff out there but so far it works for me
Cloudberries grow very far north in Scandinavia and Canada. They are like a light orange raspberry and make a great liqueur. They're rare so it's hype IMO.
I'd love to have you here, in Poland. Love you both! 😊❤ I'm a huge fan of LED devices, particularly FAQ mask from Foreo. I see immediate change in appearance after using it. xo's from PL!

Can you guys please do a video on hair styling products/ingredients that won't negatively affect scalp health ? Loved your other video on scalp/hair care but I think this would be an awesome subject to touch on for a follow-up video. So many hair styling products can be irritating or comedogenic, especially for people like me with sensitive skin. A lot of styling products give me scalp blemishes that can sometimes be pretty painful/uncomfortable. I'd love some guidance and input from y'all!!!

Loved this video! How about a video about TH-camrs and/or celebrity Skincare products? Like Nikki Tutorials (the ice mask reminded me of something she recently came out with),...
Thank you for the update on the new products so we don't have to waste our money! Would you be able to do a video on the medicube booster pro? I have been seeing this everywhere and been wanting to get it but feel as if it might be a scam!? Can you please help with this, it's almost $400 and I can't get myself to buy it without professional advice first
Have yall weighed in on growth factors and whether they’re worth the hype? If so, where should they fall in the line up of a skincare routine? Before or after retinol? Sorry if I missed any of that content!
I have had lymphedema since I was 14 and I'm 49 now. It's in my entire body and most recently in my face/head/neck. I use quasha techniques with a stone or my finger - 2x a day and I see a lymphedema physical therapist once/wkk for the rest of my body. This wand has a 'Maybe" useful appeal to me and that is: vibration. Especially if it is gentle enough for the face. The heating element might be using to use on top of skincare or a mask to help absorption, but so would a slightly warm wash cloth. I would also question how to clean this after each use. I hope it's a hard cover the top and peeps do clean it that way. But the price is not worth what it offers. *edt* I forgot to mention, I keep a my quesha stone in the fridge for my morning use, helps with swelling and puffiness. And the night treatment I just keep on the counter and use it after my last layer of skincare. It relaxes me. Also, I wanted to highlight that most people who don't have lymphedema or understand the lymphatic system, tend to press TOO hard on their skin when doing home quasha/lymph node drainage. Pressing too hard can actually block the lymphatic flow even though it does feel good.
Whereforth I am, I go to the derm's for all my skin needs plus whatever else products I use on my own. Derm place: Laser treatments, any 'mole' removal, facials. Dr. Gross mask thing.
Thank you thank you thank you. Make us informed customers and not just feed into the over saturated offerings of the corporate billionaires. I feel so overrrrwhelmed when I walk Sephora and Ulta. These companies have me feeling like I need it all and then people become prey to over mixing and over doing products/devices with their skin. I want minimal routine for maximal skin health. I especially focus on the inner body and what I put in to combat breakouts, routine detoxifying, wrinkles and aging. I'm going to age, IT'S INEVITABLE, I just want to do it gracefully!
I been using baby wipes on my face and it’s never looked clearer honestly. It’s like so basic i guess not having much money brought me to a last resort thing and it’s just worked… waisted so much money on skin care…. I still moisturize and use spf. My derm gave me tretinoin and I do use it once in a while but not really because it’s so drying. It’s like 3 times every few months lol
Going along with the theme of this video, would love to see more ratings/reviews on skincare devices, especially the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro! I have seen this device all over social media and wondering if it's worth it.
I got two devices from medicube, the air shot and age r derma EMS. I ended up selling both of them 😅 I just didn’t notice a difference and to be honest I felt it was a bit gimmicky. For the money I don’t think it’s worth it… not sure about the age r booster though
Could you recommend a SPF moisturizer that is super light weight and matte finish? I just can’t spend anymore money trying stuff out. It all seems to feel greasy and glow-ish to me.
Salicylic Acid!! Sorry Doc’s but I figured my question would be lost if I posted my question on your Salicylic Acid vid you posted some time ago. Q: Should I not use Salicylic Acid if I’m allergic to aspirin?!?? I heard that comment from a formulator, unfortunately she did not give an explanation as to why. Love all your vids, so educational and entertaining 😂
Three things I still am a little confused by: is L-Ascorbic Acid the same as plain ol' Ascorbic Acid (or both as effective as the other). Is ANY sun exposure (like 7A-8A) without sunscreen "good" for Vit D or should we never be without sunscreen, ever, ever never ever not even for a short time in the early morning. And, will tretinoin use help skin for 60+ people - maybe not dramatically but still helpful with fine lines and any sun 'damage' ...? Love y'all's videos! You two are wonderful.
They aren’t registered dietitians. It’s called eat a healthy well balanced diet and drink plenty of water. Talk to a registered dietitian if you have specific medical concerns about your meals. Limit alcohol use & don’t smoke. Use sunscreen.
