One other job John Howard has had since retiring: being the one Prime Minister people interview when our current PMs get overturned because who even is in charge anymore.

I'm sorry what do you mean? As in how many times has the deputy PM become PM, or how many deputy PMs have their been?

@@AuspolExplained I Mean How Many Times Has A Person Come Back From The Dead Politically Speaking To Occupy The Deputy Prime Ministers Office Multiple Times?.

@@baldbeardedbloke6887 oh right. Barnaby Joyce was a Deputy PM who left office and then came back as he was briefly disqualified from Parliament due to dual citizenship in 2017. Once he renounced that he was eligible to run in the by-election for his seat, which he won back. His position as Nationals Leader/Deputy PM was uninterrupted because of a constitutional clause (see: section 64) and their confidence he'd be re-elected. Joyce also was removed as leader of the Nationals and thus Deputy PM in 2018, replaced by McCormack, and is now back in the position after a spill in 2021. The only other person to be in the position twice was Doug Anthony who was Deputy PM from 71-72 and then again 75-83. He served continuously in between these periods so didn't have a moment of leaving office then returning.

there are two very different ICCs, I have discovered. not great to confuse the International Cricket Council and the International Criminal Court, though one could argue they do have many similarities (an essay i'm struggling to stop myself from writing)

Would you be able to go through the eligibility criteria for state and federal members of parliament with regards to Parliamentary Pensions? As in those who are able to receive pensions
