Totally agree, I was not expecting to cry as much as I did this episode 😭 When they cut to the scene and they showed Hughie with the IV I was like "Oh, no, they're gonna make him euthanize his father after all that?" But for a small silver lining at least he got to say goodbye to his dad which he didn't get to originally and a lot of people don't get that chance. That was a heartbreaking scene and one of my favorites in the entire series so far!
I don't care that Homelander instigated it. What we saw was probably just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the director's behavior. He earned every slap.
I'm really curious if the show is building up to a Sister Sage master plan reveal, and if they can pull it off. In an interview Eric Kripke said it was really hard to write for the smartest person in the world.
Butcher: "Got to hand it to him, c**t knows how to wear a whistle."

The viral marketing from the boys has been awesome. Saw a video todsy supodedly from coleman(news anchor)made cause he knew he was about to die.
Great episode. And i had the same "shes a shapeshifter" thought. We shall see
I also cried watching Simon Pegg in this episode. This was a perfect way for them to show how 1) V does have negative effects when given to adults instead of babies (as opposed to Temp V) and 2) don't give V to someone who was classified as brain dead after having a stroke. I was heartbreaking to watch. Kudos to Simon and Jack. They were excellent in this episode. Now with Billy, he is clearly hallucinating Jeffrey too (I think that look Sameer gave finally cleared that up). I think Billy's brain whatever that was killing him has been transformed into a symbiote after V in an attempt to cure himself. So it's kind of up in the air that he's dying. I don't think the symbiote will allow it based on Billy blacking out when stretch what's him name exploded. Sage definitely knows it was A-Train. I can't wait to see what her final game plan is. I hope she makes it to the end of the series (if she's actually working for the better good that is. Side note: RIP Fuzzy.

Those super animals burst through a human like he wasn't there and then were kept out by a wooden barn multiple times?? None of them make it off that farm.

Never thought Hughies mum was fake but do think she is up to something, how did she even know that was V, it is not something people would know what it looks like.

I don't think she (Daphne) was necessarily sent to kill Hughie's Dad, but rather to do everything she could to ingratiate herself with Hughie and get that (very suspect) ring on Annie's finger 😮
As for JDM, IF he's imaginary how did Butcher get into that CIA office and where did the drug for Ryan (that was on the desk) come from? Just some of my reasons for believing he's totally a real person 🤷🏾♂️
He could be blacking out when that stuff happens and not remembering when he comes out of it so the symbiotic brings in Joe to calm his fears that he's acquiring things without knowing how he got them.

They gave Simon Peg compound V. So he's a super being. But then they can just kill him easily..? Let's just give Homelander and the rest of them the same we gave Hughie's dad, problem solved.
Not every super has the same powers, not all are invulnerable like Homelander as shown with several other supers.
You can't Kill Superman the way you might kill Green Lantern or Aquaman. And they just put a bubble in his IV so he died peacefully and willingly.
@@JohnRochaSays Partially agree, but those guys all get there powers from different sources and origins. These guys powers all come from the same one thing, the blue vial.

Am I the only one whos a little disappointed they change so much from the comic? Shows good but they never adapt the craziest stuff from the comics which is what I was looking forward to when the show was first announced :/
I’ve never read the comics but almost everyone that I saw that has said the show is actually better than the comics, but to each their own
@@jonlee6774 tbh theyre completely diff things like The Shining movie & The Shining book.
I'm still hoping they do an animated series closer to the comics
There are some things I wish they included from the comics but overall I'm enjoying the show more.
There's NO WAY they could've gotten away with a lot of what they did in the comics. And it is a different time now in our society. They'd get destroyed if they included that stuff.
