3:15 Fun fact: The guy in that 70's commercial was an Italian American actor who changed his name from Espera Oscar de Corti to "Iron Eyes Cody" to get jobs as an extra in westerns in the 60's.
Butcher saw that bunny had both regular V and temp-V before he let it go, I think he knows those tentacles that came out of the bunny are what’s currently writhing around this skull.
So basically normal v + temp v creates the parasite. Butcher took some normal v as it is confirmed in the previous episodes. Now we don't know what this parasite can do, hell- it could even be something that kills Homelander if someone manages to inject him with temp v but they will prob have to retcon the fact that the process will take 6 months or more.
@@Nwader4life Maybe the parasite will be a way to get near homelander in the final fight to inject the virus, don‘t know for what they would bring up the whole virus thing otherwise
The scene where Hughie says to his father, you're my hero and says goodbye to him. Without a doubt what his words were makes him harder and unable to cry.😭😭
How tf did Butcher find the time to tie up sammear and cut off his leg without anyone realising weren't they all together at the same time throughout the moment they met up with him at the barn 🤣
From what I saw when they ran out the barn samir ran another way and butcher probably followed him so that gave him time to knock samir out cut his leg off and appear back to the group
Fr also couldn’t he have just shot him in the leg or something, taking the entire thing off seems overkill and risky that the doctor won’t just get an infection or bleed out
@@natedavis8067That doesn't make any sense. Butcher needed something that leads others to believe Sameer got devoured to death by the sheeps. Shooting a leg won't give him that since he needs Sameer as a prisoner as well. Maybe cutting off a finger would have been fine but yk butcher..he always goes a little overboard.
I’m willing to bet, it may have something to do with Butches unknown V powers with the worm inside him. I did find it a bit odd when ONLY butcher saw the creature inside that one animal and he stepped on it. Why did we need to see this scene? I feel he is going through the same thing except it hasn’t killed him and is probably one with Butcher…almost like a Venom/Symbiote situation
That scene with Hughie's dad really hit me hard too. I was by my dad's deathbed when he passed away due to cancer years ago. I know the situation is different but man, the emotion was real.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in Billy Butcher's head and he represents the Parasite, Symbiote aspect personality. So Jeffrey Dean's character is the second personality with Becca being the first personality. It's literally Fight Club meets A Beautiful Mind meets Mr. Brooks meets Secret Window.
No, JDM’s character represents Billy’s mission to see the supes gone no matter the cost - even if he’s gotta burn bridges to do it. The Becca hallucination is what grounds him to do the right thing.

My distrust in the police doesn’t come from my parents telling me not to trust the police or that they’re bad. Cause growing up we rarely encountered the police except for the occasional traffic ticket. Then one day when I was fucking 12, I was riding my bike with some friends in my neighborhood. An off duty officer came over and grabbed my arm and started questioning me and asking me what I was doing riding my bike in the parking lot and being very aggressive. He ignored all my friends and didn’t bother any of them but singled me out. I wasn’t the oldest nor the biggest or tallest or anything of the sort and genuinely had no idea why he was singling me out. I asked and he said I looked the most suspicious and he kept demanding to know what I was doing riding my bike in the parking lot and said he thought I must of been there to steal the air caps off of car tires to put in my bike. I didn’t even know that was a thing people did. I remembered something my cousin told me a few weeks ago (if someone grabs you with one hand the weakest part of that grab is where the thumb and fingers connect, yank away from that point). He was hurting my arm, I yanked it away from his and pedaled away as fast as I could, he never showed me a badge or anything and I was a very scared 12 year old being harassed. I didn’t even directly go home. My apartments parking lot was the next one over, I pedaled past it two apartment complexes down, then turned the corner, then headed to the back side of where I actually lived and went home to avoid him seeing where I fucking lived. I told my parents what happened and they pointed out to me that I was the only black kid in that group I was hanging with and that’s probably why I was the one singled out. They contacted my friends parents and told them they wanted to go to court against the guy and none of my friends parents were willing to let their children testify in court over what had happened. They said they didn’t want to be on the bad side of the police. So, I learned that not only do police get away with racial profiling of a fucking 12 year old but a lot of people aren’t willing to do jack shit about it when it happens because of fear. Then for most of my life after that (well until this next part) I thought that guy was just one bad apple in the bunch. Not all, most, or even a large enough number to matter could be like that. I only really ran into the cops if I was in the car with someone who was being stopped for a traffic violation of some kind. Then when I was 18 I learned that “assault on an officer” sometimes means that some racist cops had no leads on who vandalized a vending machine, decided to interrogate a black kid who’s about to join the Air Force, beat him up, and call him a [rhymes with a Winnie the Pooh character who’s bouncy] then mace him in the eyes and take him to jail. Also learned that the amount of racist cops varies from town to town. Also also learned that none of the US armed forces are willing to accept a felon who’s got assault on an officer on their record. And it was hard enough to find a job at 18 years old with no experience (given my whole plan was to join the USAF, work on and/or fly aircraft, and because of this I was preparing for joining the military by playing a lot of flight sims, learning all I could about aircraft, asking my ATC [air traffic control] dad and uncle all I could about flight, and playing multiple sports to stay in peak physical condition instead of getting working experience and getting a job). So, the cops can absolutely derail your future plans and greatly limit your options with a racially motivated hate crime and get away with it. Especially when it’s back in the early 2000’s when not everyone has camera phones to record their bullshit. I’ve been stopped numerous times while driving (some areas more so than others) to be told I fit the description. I asked what description I fit one time and was told they were looking for a drug lord. I was driving a 96’ geo metro and both my doors were a different color than the rest of the car and my hubcaps didn’t match. They were just stopping me cause I’m black and they wanted to run my ID to check for warrants and wanted to waste my time. Even at those points in life I did not hate the police nor specifically distrust them as much as I see it for what it is: they’re people just like anyone else. Just as flawed, good, bad, etc.. some are morally gray, some are going to always try to do the right thing, and some are complete wastes of space. The main problems with the police are that they have the ability to get away with doing very horrible things. Things like qualified immunity where they’re not held liable for their actions. Or when they get suspended WITH pay after doing something they should be locked up in prison for. Power does not corrupt, it reveals what was always there to begin with. So, give an asshole a badge and a gun and asshole shits gonna go down. Give someone who genuinely wants to do right and takes being a public servant to heart and the oath they swear to become a cop and good things will happen. And there isn’t any sure fire way to prevent corrupt and racist cops from becoming cops to begin with. But, uh, assholes tend to be attracted to positions of power that have little to no negative repercussions for their actions. Sooooo…. When you give leave WITH pay to some assholes who did some asshole shit or whenever there’s a lawsuit they keep their jobs and the citizens tax money pays for the lawsuit instead of, idk, their pensions or the ones that caused the lawsuit to happen in the first place it’s a corrupted flawed system where they KNOW they can get away with literally murder. So, when I see the police knowing that they can get away with all sorts of nasty things and I know this from experience I am wary of them and do not want to be around them. I don’t know if it’s one of the good ones or not and really would rather not take my chances. It’s not cause I learned this from my parents. It’s cause I got a crime I didn’t commit pinned on me, then beaten up and called racial slurs instead of being questioned and then had to derail everything I’d been planning for my life the past 10 or so years. So, fuck that noise. And also I got robbed in broad fucking daylight once. In front of two cops. They did nothing. I was screaming for help while an actual crime was happening in front of them. When it was over with and the robbers were running off with my money I saw the two cops who were writing a traffic ticket. I asked for help and said I just got robbed and pointed to the robbers who were still in sight and they said they would arrest me for obstruction of Justice if I didn’t stop talking to them. What fucking Justice? A goddamn traffic ticket? So if crime is happening to me, they don’t help. If I’m minding my own business they harass me. Sometimes they pin crimes on me, beat me up, and call my racial slurs then mace me in the eyes. This ain’t my parents telling me not to trust them. It’s the actions of the police.
the vibe i got from homelander was that he knew it was A Train. he called him out specifically to deal damage. then he and Sage looked at each other when they were watching A Train's dicomfort. Sage probably told him to not have a knee jerk reaction like last week so they can observe what A Train will do next. i am however on board with the idea that Sage is trying to take don the 7 from within
I personally think Sage is keeping Atrain alive. She's the smartest woman in the world but doesn't know when she's been lied to twice about something as serious as a whistleblower among them? Nah, I think she knows but doesn't want to rat him out for some reason
Hugh has a similar powerset to Hughie when he used the tempV. Homelander and Ryan also do as well, I assume. While Neuman and Zoe's seem different, I wonder if parents and kids on V have similar effects on the brain/body
My Nan is currently in the last stages of Alzheimer’s, so seeing hugie dad have the memory loss, confused panics and bursts of anger, really touch home. I know that probably wasn’t what they were aiming for but they handled it all beautifully. Im glad they got their goodbyes and it was a soft end
Just a little factual information for everyone: Iron eyes Cody, he was an actor in the movies. Son of Pale Face, Sittin' Bull. Native American's fkin poster boy. Part Cherokee, part Cree, wasn't even a fkin Indian. Second generation Sicilian from Louisiana named Espera DeCorti. The guy's a total fkin phony, total fugazi, but he kept it quiet.
great ep today. Was so nice to see Stan again. Towards the end while he was driving off, I almost thought he was the one who blew the driver's head off, lol. Like he finally reveals he has powers. V'd up animals is SCARY. The stuff w/ Hughie and his dad was 🥺😭...and their mockery of Comic Con/D23 was on point. Loved how A-Train's tralier even got that ridiculous trope of making a classic well known song either "sad" or "epic"
Im getting High Evolutionary vibes from this episode because of all the animals. Also, the I will remember you song always gets me from the Spiderman Far From Home intro. In the beginning with all the deceased Avengers on the High School news network. 18:25
Just finished watching it, Episode still went strong, especially with Stan Edgar back again(I swear this man is even more like Lex Luthor in this episode)!
I also though that the last Tek Knight movie in phase 10 and it’s title looked to be a play on the Dark Knight, another Batman movie. Also, I have my own ‘Theory Time’ with Hugh’s Phasing ability and how it ties back to Hughie’s powers when he took Temp V. In season 3, Hughie’s power was teleportation and I always felt that the power was like an inverse to A-Train’s ability of super speed, showing the two as opposites to each other much like how Butcher had all of Homelander’s powers, showing that the two are halves of the same coin, only Butcher didn’t have flight like Homelander because while Homelander ‘looks down’ upon humans that he thinks are inferior to him, Butcher is on the ground with the people standing up against the Supes. But back to the Campbells, Hugh Sr’s phasing ability is an ability that the Flash can use by vibrating his molecules so fast he phases through objects and people as we saw with Reverse Flash, mainly in the Flash TV show. Meanwhile, Hughie’s teleportation was just basically another version of super speed, going from one place to another super fast like in the blink of an eye. I think Hugh Sr. getting phasing powers was a fun way to tie to Hughie’s powers. I originally wanted to say it was a neat way to show how the powers of the kids can be off shoots of the parents, like Ryan getting Homelander’s powers, but then Zoe became a Resident Evil monster that I am blanking on how it relates to Victoria’s other than just killing people. As for Butcher and his powers, I think the V that he revealed he shot up before to stall or cure him of his tumor did in fact give him his powers back but now it has mutated into a new kind of power that mirrors his anger. I think that work thing is a representation of his anger and when he finally lets it loose like he did to Ezekiel than he loses all sense of self and becomes a monster, sort of like the Hulk more than Venom.
By the way netflix actually does change their thumbnails based on your viewing patterns/race (which was what the reference was for the black at it segment) for example I compared my thumbnails to that of my white friend and because I tend to watch black shows Netflix pushes black characters in their thumbnails my white friend who watches more white shoes had the opposite effect and when we compare shows we both watch like sex education he got Asa Butterfield in the thumbnail while I got Ncuti Gatwa.
Woah! I never noticed that. And now that you mentioned it, I checked my Netflix account. I think you're right. I'm Asian and I see a bunch of Asian shows on my recommended list, even though, I seldom watch any. In the case of the thumbnails, I may need to compare this to my other friends' accounts though.
This was a great episode again. Seeing Ryan do what he did and the way he drinks his drink with that grin on his face was brilliantly done, He’s becoming Homelander 2.0!!! those V’d up animals were funny to see as well. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
29:50 my dad passed in a similiar fashion an to hear your old man admit how scared they are about dying hits hard an Simon Pegg portraid it so beutifally
Theory Time: Sage will be the one to eventually re-develop the virus to kill Homelander. But it won't work; maybe just weaken him. Then Cindy and Ryan will help finish him off. A Train won't survive the season.
Something you might have missed. At the end it plays "Old McDonald had a farm" but the first 3 verses are about birds and the 4th verse is pigs. Could this be referencing something that happens "when pigs fly"?
Am I the only one who was baffled as to why Victoria didn't just pop the flying death sheep? I mean she popped the chicken who was gonna kill stan. They definitely just wasted that last dose of the virus for no reason.
I think that Joe Kessler died a few years ago from temp v and the squid thing is contains him and Homelander is going to kill butcher and squid will go into Homelander and it'll be butcher and Homelander in the same body
Really nice break down. It offered insight to the quality of the show and has me appreciating the nuance and craft of the story. This show makes me think of starship troopers in its campy yet serious/gritty approach. It’s a comic book meant for mature people brought to life. Sin city but with something to say.
*I can sorta see the Final Season* being Ryan turning into a monster that horrifies Homelander.. and it’s up to both Butcher and Homelander to both realise they’ve both created a monster.
I don’t think that’s going to happen because Ryan won’t be turning into a monster like his father. I believe he’s going to be against Homelander once he sees the truth about him
Thank you for pointing out the nod to Spaced, because my mind IMMEDIATELY went to Simon Pegg's rant when he mentioned Jar Jar. I was a little disappointed that they didn't also have a nod to Shaun of the Dead, like Simon Pegg freaking out because he has red all over him.
I doubt Jamie was the same hamster seeing as he's in Russia, I think Frenchie and MM eere just commenting on the fact that they met another V'd up hamster, hence why they already know it's a bad idea.
People need to stop saying everyone is a hallucination, the only hallucinating is Becca. You realize how repetitive it is to have every new character as a hallucination , that’s dumb
@@dwaynechapman812 that could be from butchers perspective. He could’ve gotten himself the drug. The dude he tied up looked real confused when butchers was talking to the Agent. He even looked in his direction and looked back at butchers with the same confusion
I'm now starting to believe that powers are awakened by compound V, but the specific abilities are based on some pre-existing genetic markers in the human body that may be hereditary. We've now seen at least 4 supes with children that possess similar if not the same powers as their parents: Homelander and Ryan Polarity Andre Translucent Maverick And now Hughie and Hugh, since teleportation and permeability, are both phasing type abilities. This really REALLY makes me feel like Stormfront is going to be revealed to be the mother of homelander via egg donation or otherwise. It would make sense that a child of Soldier Boy and lLberty would have monster strength, endurance, flight, and energy based powers.
I think Joe Kessler is real actually, he was the one to saw off the leg, and the rest of stuff. I think only Becca is Butcher hallucinating but Joe is made to look to be the same until the end of this season when someone else speaks to him as well by name or he interacts with another person other than The Butcher. I don't buy the "He's a hallucination" scenario Also Sammeer just lost his leg and woke up inside a barn, he has the right to look as confused as ever, or maybe he recognized Joe Kessler and that's why he gave that look.
Nah, Joe's in butchers head, the look from Sammir be one of, who are you talking to ? I was convinced hughie's mother was also in his head, until his dad interacted with his mother too. 🤔

It feels like Tek Knight and Sister Sage are the perfect counters to each other. The smartest person in the world who’s a manipulative mastermind vs a detective who has never lost a case is an interesting dynamic to be frank. Yet alone them working together, that’s a terrifying combination

Funny note the actor in the Keep America Beautiful claimed to be Native American but was actually Italian so Vaught using a white guy was somewhat historically accurate just not as obvious haha.
Yes and I'm convinced that that was the actual point of that scene. To remind us that the show's version of America is like real America on steroids. They didn't even have to pretend to cast an actual Native American in that timeline.

@Kiwi-Araga Temp V give the Bunny and butcher the black thing and then the Normal V made that thing alive, it wouldnt do anything to homelander
Yeah was wondering about that tbh....
😂He nailed the Big Pun Little Italy line out of nowhere... That's pretty impressive.
I thought that aha
Pretty Phenomenal!!!
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in Billy Butcher's head and he represents the Parasite, Symbiote aspect personality. So Jeffrey Dean's character is the second personality with Becca being the first personality. It's literally Fight Club meets A Beautiful Mind meets Mr. Brooks meets Secret Window.
i think it's just the evil version of butcher
No, JDM’s character represents Billy’s mission to see the supes gone no matter the cost - even if he’s gotta burn bridges to do it. The Becca hallucination is what grounds him to do the right thing.
Definitely seems like something going on with him from that look by Samir

Hughie Sr. accident first kill is a nod to the first kill of Hughie in the comics when he punches a supe through his heart.
When Tek Knight said there's a 12(?) minute scene that all black was absolutely a shot at the GoT battle scene that was too dark to watch.

When Annie first showed trouble using her powers, the next shot of Neuman smirking led me to believe that it was Neuman suppressing them with her blood powers. But I guess I was mistaken because it doesn’t seem that’s what the writers intended
But Victoria lashes out on her about her powers not working on the farm
@@no8to8racism yea, that’s why I said when Annie first showed trouble using her powers. It wasn’t explained that it was actually an internal thing with Annie until later in the episode which is also why I said I was mistaken

This episode had me on the verge of tears with Hughies story😫
Every time you say V52, I start singing "Love Shack!".... Ryan looks to be getting older in every episode. By season 5, he'll be a grown man.
Frenchie: if I had a Euro for every time I was attacked by invulnerable juiced up lab animals, I'd have 2 Euros. Which isn't that many, but it's weird it happened twice.
Kimiko: 🤨
Cheers for checking out the video. Let us know if there’s anything we missed.
Yeah, I believe the actor in the original Crying Indian litter commercial was played by Iron Eyes Cody an Italian American Actor 😂
the vibe i got from homelander was that he knew it was A Train. he called him out specifically to deal damage. then he and Sage looked at each other when they were watching A Train's dicomfort.
I believe Joe Kessler is in Butcher’s imagination.

Just a little factual information for everyone:
Iron eyes Cody, he was an actor in the movies.
Check my community tab for spoilers/leaks on this season 4..
tbh the thing that came into my mind was “animal farm.” idk why
That big pun verse you spit caught me so off guard 😂

Attatching dementia to an ability that overpowered is horrific. Normally im desensitized to shows but that one got me
Theory Time: Sage will be the one to eventually re-develop the virus to kill Homelander.
It was probably the best episode of the season. We got Gus back, hilarity with the animals and a touching scene
Cate has her arm back. Wonder if it grew back or it's a prosthetic? And another one "whatever you need homelander"

I love finishing the episode, and being able to hop into a breakdown immediately. What a way to start my morning!! Hello from AZ
I believe he’s going to be against Homelander once he sees the truth about him
@JoshuaHornbaker - he’s starting to enjoy the violence so idk
Theres nothing Ryan can do that would horrify Homelander and there is nothing that could make Butcher team up with Homelander nor harm Ryan.

So I like that homelander is building up Ryan with small stuff to build Ryan into a monster rather than try and force the issue
Homie said after 1 year of my movie debut... We are due for a REBOOT 😂😅😂
I'm now starting to believe that powers are awakened by compound V, but the specific abilities are based on some pre-existing genetic markers in the human body that may be hereditary. We've now seen at least 4 supes with children that possess similar if not the same powers as their parents:
Homelander and Ryan
Polarity Andre
Translucent Maverick
And now Hughie and Hugh, since teleportation and permeability, are both phasing type abilities.
This really REALLY makes me feel like Stormfront is going to be revealed to be the mother of homelander via egg donation or otherwise. It would make sense that a child of Soldier Boy and lLberty would have monster strength, endurance, flight, and energy based powers.
I fully thought Sage was on Homelander's side, but after this episode im staring to think she definitely has her own agenda.
Great job with the Big Pun rhyme!🤣🤣🤣👊🏾
I think Joe Kessler is real actually, he was the one to saw off the leg, and the rest of stuff. I think only Becca is Butcher hallucinating but Joe is made to look to be the same until the end of this season when someone else speaks to him as well by name or he interacts with another person other than The Butcher. I don't buy the "He's a hallucination" scenario
Also Sammeer just lost his leg and woke up inside a barn, he has the right to look as confused as ever, or maybe he recognized Joe Kessler and that's why he gave that look.
Nah, Joe's in butchers head, the look from Sammir be one of, who are you talking to ?
I was convinced hughie's mother was also in his head, until his dad interacted with his mother too. 🤔
Why was Kessler acting surprised when he saw Shameer?
I hope Kimiko ends up talking at some point.
Also can I just say, the editing on the videos are on point. Great work!
Kessler saying "the team is a joke" is definitely a nod the The Comedian's "its all a joke" in Watchmen.
Edgar, not Sameer. Sameer is the scientist.
Good job with the big pun part. Made me like this

The Indian in the original commercial wasn't a native. He was an Italian dude
The team is in turmoil. Except Huey, he got the closure he needed and is the only level headed person currently in the Boys And I think it’s gonna be him who helps them regain their confidence.
I don’t care about anybody in this show anymore. I feel like the only interesting character left is homelander.
Butcher’s story is promising
Deep is funny lol
It feels like Tek Knight and Sister Sage are the perfect counters to each other.

We got 3 more left and unless they pull an 2 hour episode
@skullcandy14785 yup. Not much room to develop a bad

Too much concentration on agenda and not enough on story.

How does Kate have both her arms back when in the last episode if Gen V, Marie exploded her arm.
I was wondering that myself
Did you see her arm? It was covered all the way down. Prosthetics exist my man.
Funny note the actor in the Keep America Beautiful claimed to be Native American but was actually Italian so Vaught using a white guy was somewhat historically accurate just not as obvious haha.
Wasn't the Native American in that ad like Italian or something? I mean, in real life.
Yep. He was an Italian American.
Yes and I'm convinced that that was the actual point of that scene.
To remind us that the show's version of America is like real America on steroids. They didn't even have to pretend to cast an actual Native American in that timeline.
Kesler is definitely Butcher's tumor! Sage is definitely playing Homelander just because she can...
