On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

@@minimali992 It was a joke about how close GS was flying to the ground, almost touching it's own shadow=almost crashing.
Genuinely though he was gonna Maverick it under the power lines at one point he was that low, even the birds in the trees were looking down at him!

He’s just showing off now… 50ft above ground on the way in, drops his ordnance, runs out of flares, dodges 3 SAMs, fights off 2 Fulcrums, and then nails a 3 wire landing. The WSO had already passed out from the stress 😂

Looked like you nearly slapped that second JDAM with the Super Hornets wing after you pickled it.
I came into this thinking this was a "precision strike vs precision strike" comparison between the super hornet and the fulcrum. That would be interesting to see. Maybe, a mini-competition using the Top Gun Maverick mission but with different aircraft (F18 Super Hornet, F16, Mig-29, Gripen, etc) to see which ones do it best.
F18 smart bombing HVTs meeting at a resort... puts me in mind of Clear and Present Danger.

Everything from the low altitude run up to the running away from missiles to running for cover from that Fulcrum made this one a nailbiter! Seriously cool man!
When those missiles missed after you dropped the bombs reminded me of the Behind Enemy Lines scene with the F/A-18 flying to do reconnaissance and then begins dodging missiles. As silly and unrealistic that movie is now, it was pretty cool back when I was a kid.

The Super Hornet is a great fighter bomber. It's like an A-7 with a pointy nose. I think it falls down as an air superiority fighter though. I think the outcome would've been different had the opposition been SU-35s. I know this is kicking a dead horse, but modernized A-7 s escorted by F-14s would be a more effective option. Great video! Excellent Excellent Excellent Canuck Brother GS. I would bet a Boston Cream if you continued to pull your nose on him for the launches, you would have taken a 77 to the xxxxxx. Instead, you launched multiple times close to gimbal limits and survived AND, survived in a "slow as molasses on a cold winter day" Super Hornet. If the 2nd MiG was at 14 miles and GS had gone feet wet and he can see the Carrier (It will be in a Group), the Group is far too close to the coast/enemy. Normally not closer than 200/250 miles. If he can see the Group they began firing too late.
