Not much of that with this band, they were a family. Wish they had more hits, very deserving...Anyway this music and this video really hits my emotions. Great video
Such an underrated singer
Mazzy Star were one of the best talents that I have heard in years. I believe if more people listened to their music in this day and time and actually listen to the lyrics they would be a #1 hit ! I have lived through the best years of music in the music industry. From the late 50’s until now. Mazzy Star will always be a Star in my heart and eyes!
I was 14 days old when this was recorded. Feels like a time capsule that I just opened today.
She has the sweetest and most calming voice.
Lana Del Rey a priori
My goodness she is beautiful and with a voice to match. How did I miss this when I was growing up at this time in my late teens. Hauntingly beautiful lyrics and melodies
This certainly passes -- and exceeds! -- the goose-bump test. I've been a Mazzy fan for decades, and had not heard this session. I hope there's more to find and to listen to. Someone (a music critic?) wrote that when he first heard Hope's voice, he knew there must be a God. Hats off... . --Joe / Tucson
The entire Mazzy Star Black Sessions is here on youtube. One of their best live shows! th-cam.com/video/mo5SQHIhUGc/w-d-xo.html
The 90s had some of the best music-
Hope is so beautiful and fragile. I just want to reach through the screen and hold and protect her.
First time I heard her voice I said to myself what a mesmerizing voice and instantly fell in love without ever seening her until now and in the Fade Into You video.
This song keeps my eyes very well hydrated
Doubly Sad now that David Roback is gone.
So quick just like that.
The decades flew by.
But the music will last forever.
RIP David Roback and Thanks! 🙏🏻

Hope Sandoval : an angel , thank you for make beautiful songs
I have about 10 miutes ago just discovered this enigma of a voice. I imagined sitting in the dark with the 1 I love with only stars above and forget it all.
Same!!! 2010,legitimately for me, I'm certain I heard and liked her Haunting beauty in vocals In the 90's just Fade Into You, didn't know whom sung it THEN
I love you so much Hope....
Wow, this version sounds like she's right next to you singing.

Eres lo máximo Esperanza Sandoval!!!❤
Wat a beautiful woman
Spooky and confronting love ❤️ it
I heard it on the OC, and I think it was the end credits or something, I kept replaying that bit over and over again. Looked for the song, was so close to giving up cuz I couldn't find it. When I did I listed to it on loop for an entire day and proceeded to forget about it, until a friend mentioned mazzy star and then I found it again 😤♥️ urgh so glad that I did
RIP david, I can’t say how many times I have let my mind unravel to this guitar, all his guitar work really, you were free on Earth but now I guess you are really free🤍
Lovely sentiment captured in your comment... these two people personify what many of us fail to find at every turn.
I am proud to say I just discovered Mazzy Star and Hope about two weeks ago. That means I have a lot to catch up on.
and what an enjoyable catch up you will have..........
Better late than never. Welcome.
Scott Campbell GOOD for YOU... Enjoy.. you're one of the blessed ones.
Still Cold is my personal favorite. See them live if you can! I paid $45 per ticket only about three years ago!
On the 7th day, God created Hope Sandoval. BTW, she is still around, age 52. She looks great still.
This video montage is absolutely gorgeous. The two most beautiful voices I've ever heard in my life are Hope Sandoval and Tatiana Shmayluk.
