Great review, good to see HHA getting some light. Everything these days seems to be Spot Hogg Spot Hogg Spot Hogg. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the Fast Eddie is a great sight and deserves the attention. I’ve been running the HHA Optimizer Kingpin for years now. Rock solid, reliable, gets the job done 👌🏼
HHA sights are an excellent value. Their customer service is #1 in the industry too! I have 4 Kingpins and about 20 sight wheels with all the tapes already installed, I can guess the tape number and get it set up in a couple of shots by changing out wheels. I keep tract of all the dope with different weight arrows and poundage and can change arrows in seconds. I use then for 3D and hunting. HHA has the brightest fiber optics, I don't need a light. Not really sure why someone would want all those pins cluttering up the view, it's so east to turn the wheel.
I think some of the most interesting technological advances are being made in the hunting and 3D archery lines. The ability to adjust your sight tape up or down a yard by changing the position of the knob is utter genius. This was a good review, and once again a great product by HHA. Really impressed!

There is a conversion kit available from HHA directly for changing from the hunter mount to the dovetail. If I remember correctly it is $55 shipped I did it to my kingpin. Best thing I ever did for that sight.

Upside to this sight if you use your top pin as your floater you don't necessarily have to Gap shoot you can use the dial for exact yardage if you use your bottom pen as your floater you can only do exact yardages after 60 yards.

I got the CBE three pin adjustable sight on my matthews and it’s easiest setup just like the hha sight and the spott Hogg. My girl shoots a Hoyt with spott Hogg highly recommend cbe hha and spott Hogg for easiest setup
Guys, you can make 1 yard adjustments on all your pins with a four pin sight by turning the wheel like you would with a single pin! you just need to pay attention to where your at on the tape.
I shoot a HHA single pin my sight tape goes all the way down to 10 and then out to 125 I shoot 100 all the time and group really good I love HHA my dad was sponsored by them years ago and I still shoot them
How did you change the windage for the 40 yard pin or did you adjust the whole sight? I often struggle with windage on a 40 with good groups, I the adjust the whole sight assuming the further distance needs more adjustment but sometimes it throws off my closer pins and can be very frustrating chasing that around. I plan on getting a new bow this year and will be headed back down that road. Also might come into your shop since I'm not too awful far. Any further advice is appreciated along with your videos.

Well here is a bad review for HHA , I put my order in over 8 weeks ago, finally, finally arrived, I ordered the dove tail for my new Matthews , no dovetail, yeah, I’m not happy with their service to say the least, I understand it takes time but geez even on the order it says dove tail. When you pay that much g eat the order right, especially after waiting for over 8 weeks.
You'll get more distance from your sight the way you have it set up. So say your max yardage is a hundred using your top pin. But now you'll have 3 other pins to shoot further.
@@russelllangworthy8855 I do it just for practice. And for fun. I heen practicing long shots like that for Total Archery Challenge. Or some trick shots. But I will never shot an animal at that distance. As a matter of fact I use my recurve and long bow when I hunt. So my shots or normally 15 yards on in.
I know your in iowa now and that’s awesome, if your willing to link up and shoot or mess around outdoors hmu! I’m south west of Iowa city if that gives you an idea!
@@lycheeznuts just as likely for the HHA to strip as the black gold… and besides Josh bowmar, I haven’t heard of ANYONE having an issue with a black gold dial malfunctioning…. Also, my comment was (as stated in the comment) solely about leveling the sight… all adjustments are micro adjustments except for the second axis which is the bubble in the scope ring.
I’m sure you know this… But if you use your bottom pin as the slider you get way more yardage. And for closer shots if you still dial use your bottom pin you can be exactly on target instead of gap shooting
There could be a burr on your release that slowly cuts it as you pull back over time, run some fine sandpaper on your release head and it will probably stop. You could run a cotton ball across it too to pin point if there’s a burr

Hell yea. HHA sights are awesome. I usually set my 50 pin as high as the slider will go so I can get the maximum amount of yardage out of the slider.

That's a nice sight chris. But I really like my spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin. It fits in the bridge lock in my v3x 29. Works great.

Was between that and the landslide for me. The swappable wheels for different arrow setups is sweet, especially for a multi use bow.
