I guess I must be getting old because I just don’t get the burnout thing. I don’t have a lot of money so I have to maximize the mileage I get out of a tire, can’t afford to be burning it off!
I feel the same way, I also don’t get the wheelie thing either, I ride my bike pretty hard but I surely don’t abuse it, I’m sure some keyboard tough guy will have something to say, I don’t really care

You're not the only one I must be getting old too cuz first of all I can't see burning my tire until it blows out just going to cost me money second of all I'm not going to put any of my motorcycles through that kind of abuse it just to me it just doesn't make that much sense
