    This game is nuts. ASU was down big despite having double the yardage. Multiple 4th down failures by ASU in UT territory. According to ESPN, UT had a 99.9% chance of winning early in the 4th, now ASU is on the goal line with the chance to tie.

      As much as the NFL talks wanting big, powerful backs, the guys that get the most snaps are hybrids like McCaffrey, Kamara, and Leveon. I’d like to see him have a career like Marshawn Lynch though.

    Texas should have easily won this game with the amount of talent they have. In the 1st quarter, they scored twice in about 45 seconds and made it look like they were unstoppable. ASU on the other hand showed that they wanted to win the game more than Texas did. I'm not a fan of either team, but the mistakes made by both teams, and the momentum swings were insane.

    Game's over, Texas won. But I'd still like to hear an official explanation of why that wasn't targeting. Even the expert analyst said he thought it was targeting. As an ASU supporter, I have to realize just because the bad call went against them, the game wasn't won at that point. They have had a lot problems with the kicking game and a subsequent field goal try could have been missed, as has happened many times this season. They played a great game after the first couple of minutes. Hats off to Leavitt and Scattebo, they played their hearts out, as did the rest of the team. Looking forward to next year, lots of good players coming back.

    • @Bones12x2
      @Bones12x2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Would you like an official explanation on why it wasn't targeting when the ASU player launched himself upward into Bonds head/neck area on the interception, would you like an explanation for why this play wasnt flagged for an illegal player blocking 6 yards down field as the pass was thrown, would you like an explanation for why the ASU olineman was allowed to literally lift and pull/carry Skattebo into the endzone from the three yard line, would you like an explanation for how there was a 3rd down play in the first half where ASU was clearly a full yard short of a first down but they spotted it for a first anyway, then reviewed it and everyone including the TV guys could obviously see it was short but they gave it to them anyway, would you like an explanation on why Taafe was called for defensive PI on a play where Skattebo clearly pushed off, would you like an explanation for why both teams got away with a few egregious holds, would you like an explanation for a obvious false start that everyone on the Texas defense saw and pointed out but the refs just let it go............do you care that the refs made tons of mistakes on lots of plays for both teams but by far made more significant total mistakes against Texas....or do you just wanna bitch about one of them?

I have seen textbook hits that weren't even close to being targeting getting called as targeting. Then I watch a game in the ACC or Big 12, and a hit that is 3 times worse than that hit isn't even called as targeting.

    • @1960alton

    • @Bones12x2
      @Bones12x2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@1960alton correct, also the ASU player was not defenseless. If people go back and watch, he had come to a stop before the pass was thrown and as the ball approached he willingly turned his body upfield to attempt to advance the ball while making the catch, then fully turned his shoulders once the ball was in his hands. The moment he does that he is a willing runner and is no longer considered a defenseless/protected reciever.

      Well agree with you on the targeting non call when the TX defender hit him helmet to helmet. That was clear. But also on the non call on ASU when they intercepted the Texas pass and the TX receiver was just about decapitated by the other defender. The ref said he was hit in the chest but it appeared to me he was hit in the neck area by the way his head snapped back violently. I guess I don’t understand the targeting rule “calls” but I know what I saw.

      Oh stop with the targeting nonsense. Isaiah Bond of Texas got the exact same shot on the pick and it wasn't called either bro. Let's not forget the scattebo push off down the side line or Trey Moore getting tackled several times off the edge by your tackles. Not one holding called against Arizona State all game when your quarterback was back there running for his life. And every spot on a first down were very generous in Arizona State's favor several times. Lay off the nonsense and put down the pipe

      it wasnt completely game changing but if they fail on that play, the game is probably over. Also, it made a huge difference late. The only reason ASU even had a prayer in that game was because the dominated time of possession. They only had 3 points on offense prior to the 4th quarter and the only reason they had success late was because they had run like 90 plays and the Texas defense got gassed. So this conversion mattered a lot.
