    Hundreds of protesters remained in the grounds of Parliament on Monday morning, infuriating local businesses and politicians of all stripes, and confounding the authorities who are trying to move them on after seven days of disruption.
    The grounds of Parliament have been turned to mud, and are covered with rubbish, pea hay and the torn and sodden skeletons of tents. It has lost its festival-like atmosphere following the drenching over the weekend.

      OTOH most New Zealanders still support the mandates and Cindy. It's not a time to be proud if you're a New Zealander to be honest.

    None of us really care about the inconveniences caused to parliamentarians do we? This is their creation so now they have to deal with it. Abusive and aggressive behavior towards wellyites not cool though! Keep a lid on your emotions protesting people, keep it civil.

    Rumour has it that the tow truckies and military will not comply and remove the vehicles?

    • @skeme1213

      Correct. Ex Military personnel and ex tow truckies are amongst us.

      I don't think the police want that either, there are a lot of them against the mandates too. Keep up the protests - I feel Ardern is weakening.

      They are protesting against mandates that force a decision they feel crosses the line to personal well being nz protesters are a helluva lot more benign than in other countries where they are burning cars and bashing each other

    • @mellothemarsh
      @mellothemarsh 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ananamu2248 its not forcing, its taking away certain wants. its like when parents take away their kids devices because they havent done something/done something wrong. whats your problem with the vaccine anyway lol
