Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Longbridge railway station is a two-platform station, serving the Longbridge, Rednal, Rubery, and West Heath areas in the far south-west of Birmingham, England. It is on the Cross City Line. The station and all trains calling there are operated by West Midlands Trains.

I’ve been on a new 730/0 unit working with west midlands railway yesterday because that’s the unit that’s taking over the cross city line and be the 323s replacement

Longbridge is part of the city of Birmingham. And yes I know you may point out that it's part of the ridiculously named west midlands, but first and foremost it's a suburb of my home city!

Great video to end 2023 on, Starlife! I absolutely love the sounds the Class 323's make - definitely my favourite sounds for units along-side the 465/9's. Really good views down the line both directions there even despite the overbridges looking south, and definitely a treat to see the same HST consist that would go to work the 'Pines Express' tour just under a month later. Happy new year!
