These things are a lot of fun, I even taught my mom how to shim them on Christmas Eve, it was a blast, and my Dad thinks I'm insane; best night ever, seeing Mom bust out of thumb cuffs.
Holy fuck I've been riding for years and this guy just explained natural horsemanship or even riding in general (since all riding forms use a lot of what he mentioned) better than any instructor I've ever had.

My mom taught us this kind of horsemanship as she was into dressage. Some neighbors laughed that we made pets of our horses, but a cooperative horse who likes and trusts the rider is safer and more fun.
4:29 this man is a genius. He find the right way to explain something the most of instructors forget to tell or teach only in months... using that broom a beginner can understand very well something most of the amateurs still ignoring.
Kent's teaching method was pretty fantastic, there are few people who can integrate everything from proper, easy-to-understand visuals to engaging actions in their teaching. Amazing!
I know Kent IRL and he is a really good guy. Iv had the experience of competing with him and talking with him. He's really down-to-earth and realistic about teaching his craft.
I had a 17 hand Arabian horse named desert storm, dude would bite me all the time, and kick me. Yet when I would get on him, even bareback I didn't need to do anything, he just knew where I wanted to go and how fast. He was never kept in a pen, we would just let him out and he stayed on our 10 acre property. One day we both fell about 5 feet into a ditch, because of the soft dirt around it, and he got up and grabbed me by my belt and helped me stand up.. Quit riding after he died of stomach cancer.. Miss that horse.
That "I'm a Ravenclaw" moment was exactly what I'd felt through the whole video. You've actually ignited my long-forgotten spark of horse riding, and now I'm trying to compile a bunch of my savings to bring it to life. My heartfelt gratitude
The Guys in this series who are explaining archery and riding are one of the most competent, best explaining guys i have ever seen. Great Work ! Learned much and was very entertaining.

That was so very interesting. I live in Alberta, but have never had the opportunity for understanding horses and how you ride one. This is great, explains so much. I used to like walking through the fields and shooting, and some horses would be friends and expect that carrot or sugar cube as a thank you for lettin me cross your pasture, but never really understood about how to ride one, and the awesome relationship between man and horse. This video is filled with so much knowledge. I never knew so much about riding or the mentality of a horse. And it was fun learning ! It would awesome one day if I ever make it down to Texas that is to find this instructo. Thanks guys !

I can't believe I'm just now seeing this! I chuckled quite a bit when he said " Thunder had him figured out." haha yeah he did! It's so funny watching people ride for the first time! Awesome job everyone!
At 21:00 when she said "Four points... for Gryffindor" Jason just replied with the straightest face ever and looking sorta offended "I'm a Ravenclaw" I just started dying with laughter.
There are whole channels dedicated to archery and they get simply stringing an arrow to a bow wrong glad to see you know how to shoot a bow correctly and aren't continuing to spread false information like other channels IE you strung the bow on your dominant side
You guys are great. I just stumbled across your pruno video and it cracked me up. Now I've seen this two part episode and I'm subscribing. You guys did so good on the horses! Looks real fun.
Funny that she mentioned my country - Poland. Actually Poland fits in Texas a little over 2 times, but population density is 3 times bigger ;) Never heard about this sport, but we like to cultivate our traditions so it's possible. We are so proud of Polish Hussars calvalry that we recently made a supercar called Arrinera Hussarya. BTW, I hope we'll still be close allies because of our common interests... we too don't like Russians and Germans xD Keep up the good work Brian, Jason and your crew :)

*it is not recommended that you use your hullo pillow as a dam, although should the occasion arise, you can later dry out the buckwheat and resume pillowing.
A fun fact about poland. We have a history with mounted archers. Huns tried to atack us and we defended against them. Then we created a grup called "lisowczycy" who were a very similar in tactics to Huns. Because of that we have sitch a big representation of mounted archers.

I can't believe I'm just now seeing this! I chuckled quite a bit when he said " Thunder had him figured out." haha yeah he did! It's so funny watching people ride for the first time! Awesome job everyone!
Thanks Laura!
These guys are brilliant. One of the best channels on TH-cam. That was hilarious at some points.
Thanks, man
It's a pleasure sirs. Keep them rolling. We appreciate your work.
I’m glad the second part came so soon
Me too!
If this was an Olympic sport I might actually watch the Olympics.
i cant even do it in M&B
Great Episode Guys ! Didn't you'd be able to shoot an arrow from a moving horse in just one video, great job !
This was absolutely awesome! One of the best videos. I almost died of laughter when they actually started riding the horses
Holden Tuma Glad you liked it!
Jason Murphy What! I did not just get a reply from Jason Murphy! It's truly an honor. Keep up the great work! I'm freaking out about this!
At 21:00 when she said "Four points... for Gryffindor" Jason just replied with the straightest face ever and looking sorta offended "I'm a Ravenclaw" I just started dying with laughter.
Thank God; I thought you'd forgotten!
There are whole channels dedicated to archery and they get simply stringing an arrow to a bow wrong glad to see you know how to shoot a bow correctly and aren't continuing to spread false information like other channels IE you strung the bow on your dominant side
Those pillows are no joke.
Right??? They’re so goooooood!!
Super AWESOME episode! Capt. NoCordination proved the name wrong today...well done...perfect char!
You guys are great. I just stumbled across your pruno video and it cracked me up. Now I've seen this two part episode and I'm subscribing. You guys did so good on the horses! Looks real fun.
Thanks so much! We’ve got a good 100+ episodes waiting for you to binge (I’m told they’re rather good)
Came for Brian's WOW moment and didn't got disappointed and also Brian is an awesome badass.
I just bought a pillow because of yall. I hope you're happy.
Not as happy as you're going to be when you get it. I'm about to buy a second one.
It was really nice to see something where Brian just got everything right off. (I just watched a bunch of videos where Jason got things more)

“It is not recommended that you use your Hullo Pillow as a dam, although should the occasion arise, you can later dry out the buckwheat and resume pillowing” 😂 😂
Thought we wouldn’t notice, but we did! Lol
No one commented the fact that the horse can handle your instructions so precisely
*it is not recommended that you use your hullo pillow as a dam, although should the occasion arise, you can later dry out the buckwheat and resume pillowing.
0:19 this is hands down my favorite shot in this video. Too cool.
Ok you got me interested in these pillows, you better not be cheesing it for the sponsors!
darkinertia2 Seriously. I really can’t stress it enough. I was really skeptical, but ...
It’s so, so great. I really didn’t expect to love it as much as I did.
“I’m a ravenclaw” haa
Tell me this dude doesn't sound like Woody Harrelson!!
Connor I knew I recognized the voice
Impressive as hell that you hit the target on the horse, Brian!
Good job Guys. Great Mounted Archery information for beginners. I guess the first hurdle is finding a Horse that is properly trained.
How about a Blacksmith episode??
House We really need to!
A fun fact about poland. We have a history with mounted archers. Huns tried to atack us and we defended against them. Then we created a grup called "lisowczycy" who were a very similar in tactics to Huns. Because of that we have sitch a big representation of mounted archers.
Legends say Brian is still atop the horse to this day, for he cannot stop it.
Jason's indignant "I'm a ravenclaw". It totally got me.
Finally something I can try at home
Alexandre Grenier what?
Riding a broom
Loved the comment she was breaking out of her Shell a lil with that point for griffindor
