@@ScottyMakesStuff I absolutely love this thing. It catches a lot of attention and I’ve sold a bunch to people at podcasting conferences 🤙🏽 Need to try the less beefy one for casual travel.
I bought one. It extremely hard to get the pocket 3 far enough into the case for the thread in the bottom to engage. And, even worse, it is almost impossible to get it back out of the case. They also make a roll-bar-umbrella attachment. The problem with it is that it encroaches in the field of view in the top of the frame. I have emailed them about this over a week ago with no answer. If you have problems, you are on your own.
The screw works fairly easily (it's longer than you would think), make sure you push the camera all the way down, and it may seem obvious but make sure the screw is lined up to the hole and turn the screw clockwise. As far as removing it. It was also simple, but to ensure I didn't pull the gimbal apart, I completely remove the set screw and push it out with a skinny Allen key shottr.cc/s/1Y7g/SCR-20240429-m9w.jpeg
Man, that was my first thought as well, but hey, even if I'd use it for the plain safe transportation, it'll do it's purpose. The bag that comes with the creator combo is nice but soft, if it gets clamped between other stuff in the bag, or whatever other risky situation...I also experienced the unit being more stable if used with a case where the weight is increased and the grip becomes more secure. I've got a cheapo case that I might just replace with the one by Scotty
How easy is it to remove your pocket 3 from the scotty pro case and does the cage get in the way of filming your content thx.
It’s really easy to take off and honestly tone it makes it better because I have bigger hands 🙌🏽 so I get a better grip on the camera
Hey Doc Rock! This one flew under my radar! Thanks so much for the great review of our case! 🥰❤🩹❤💯

@@DocRock Wow! Thanks so much for your support! :)
@@DocRock Are you thinking the Slim Case or the Slim Case for battery extension?
@@ScottyMakesStuff prolly the battery one. My hand are too big to go wholly small made 😂🤣
Great! Hey, I was wondering if you've seen our Dual Handle accessory for the Pro Case?

This case will do very well, once its available in the U.K, and Europe.
I dragged it all around a big conference, and it was awesome. Maybe Scotty sells the print files you can get printed in the UK
Need that.
@@KaimanaPine I just got the new thinner one and I love it too. Scott just sent me the dual handles for this one, gonna test this weekend 🤙🏽
@@DocRock Which one do you prefer? I´m debating which one to get!
Does this work with the creator combo tripod?
Yes
The only thing I’d miss is the magnetic filter storage. Gonna check it out for sure.
Actually I just read on the website description that there’s storage for two filters in the cap.
I’ll try the cap and send you a pic
awesome
Ha! Did I finally put you on something? I gave you the GAS this time. 😂
The case defeats the whole pocket idea. I wouldn’t want to carry that thing around during a trip.
I don't waer skinny jeans, or leggings so it fit nicely in the pocket on one side and X100VI in the other.

@@DocRock Leggings or not there is no way you are walking around with that osmo case and the x100VI in your pants. 😂
@@HomesickMac it fits fine in the pocket. We are now little kids 😂🤣
