Only Danny Elfman could sing so beautifully as Jack. This would have to be my favourite children's movie. I love the music so much and the animation and story. I even have little figurines of the characters. Danny you made this such an amazing musical. I love it and always will. ❤❤❤
Every song in this great movie essentially becomes an earworm, but this really is one of the biggest (not in a bad way, obviously). I think it's mostly the instrumentation and the tone of Jack's (aka Danny's) vocals. It just builds up the excitement that Jack has, and it's one of my fave in this movie, even if it's just for showing us a glimpse of Christmas Town. 💀🎄
The point of the song is that jack is mesmerized by Christmas town because its so different than what he’s used to, his line “Theres something very wrong” proves this
Kinda unrelated, but I love how the haloween area in a hat in time is both the chrstinas and Halloween level/world. Also, the snatcher (the antagonist) gives heavy nigtmare before chrstinas vibes
This movie combines Halloween and Christmas so perfectly. You can watch it during both seasons, and it feels just right!
